To the people complaining about the police horses. They are highly trained animals. Police horses go thought riot training. They are used to loud noises and yelling. They are not being harmed unless they are physically being hurt (like hitting or stabbing). They won't trample people unless they are asked to by their rider and this horse was trampling no one. It was being asked to move the crowd forward and it did.

Can we just agree on something: A successful protest in a democratic society needs 4 things:

1. A definite and charismatic leader

2. Reasonable and achievable goals

3. A method of achieving these goals

4. Political ties- A member of parliament representing the cause, or similar

Occupy has none of these. It has no leader, no plan. Im not brainwashed. I fucking hate channel 7 and channel 9 and I agree with Occupy's cause, but they are doomed to fail. They're just going to piss everyone off.

@Zloox96 Firstly, I think it's the police's fault that the horses are even there in the first place, not the protestors fault. Secondly, nobody is screaming AT the horses, they are screaming at the police, who decided it was appropriate to ride horses. If you think the horses are being tortured you should write a formal complaint to Victoria Police, not complain on YouTube that the protestors are hurting the horses ears.

@kellyrowland84  The crowd was reacting after the brutality of the cops. You should have seen the bloodied faces. Many of them were bashed up inside police vans. The government has given them a secretive pay rise to reward them for this brutality. The governments are going to reward the cops and use them to attack democratic rights.

Back in the good old days a protest in Melbourne had strong Union's that took no shit from the police, we use to throw marbles so the police on horses could not do what they are doing in the clip.. Just show's you how weak Australia has become

Let the protest organizers know your stance. At the moment they are protesting for 99% of us, but i think that figure is wrong. Let them know your approval or disapproval with a short polite SMS to the numbers from their websites.
