@TheTrimby1973 I would have to agree with you, but he never attained the rank of lieutenant general. He was passed over because of his beliefs in arming slaves and anti Bragg feelings. He is my favorite general. I'm headed to Franklin this weekend for a reenactment and look forward to standing on the ground where his career ended.
