  • Amazing..I currently can do around 10-11 pull ups.I recently came across a site that says don't lock your shoulders straight when the go down.Thats is you don't want to go in the dead hang position everytime you descend after a single rep.What is your take on this??I saw how you do it.I do it the similarly but what about this locking thing??

  • This dude is a total beast! If you were going to follow anyone on a path to health, fitness, and wellness, Arash is the best choice. He does not mess around when working out, and he never half-asses anything. Every pull up he does is FULLY done without rushing, and he never does those half-ass pull ups where you just bop up and down like most people do.

I really liked this video because it demonstrates the different muscle groups that can be worked with something as simple as a pull up bar, thanks again so much!   • Is it really alright to do pull ups every day? I thought you had to leave a few days to rest, so that you don't overtrain?

  • what i find best is to have a chair under the bar and stand on it but being in a crouch position. pull yourself up with all your strengh jus usin your arms, but if you need the support, use your legs but not too much of it so you get the pull up effect. that how i started doin it at the begining. and now i got rid of the chair and i can do over 20 pull ups without it. hope that helps for those who want to build strengh in your pull up workouts

  • LOL I'm 13, fit and perfect shape at 203lbs and 6'4", and I do 78 perfect diamond form pulls up in a row from dead hang, no momentum and no kipping, dope free. :P

  • @AlBunyan You get better from copying and learning from those who are better than you. Do you need a step by step explanation of how to do a pull up? I doubt it. Watch what he does and try them out. You can benefit from this or you can choose to ignore. Your choice.

  • Nice vid, it's good to be positive and say anyone can do pullups. Wondering though, do you mean to say that people should do them everyday? If you're going to exhaustion is it better to take the next day off to give muscles time to fully recover?

    Do pull ups only every 48hours. Do it two or three time a week, no more.

  • Ladies and gentlemen there are no secrets to doing pulls ups. Just do them! What do you need to think before doing them? Don't think before doing them. Try not to flail around when you do them and try not to cheat by swinging your hips to get momentum to go up. Focus on form and then you can have fun like that guy up there. Also, I'm not going to say that size does not equal strength, because it does at times. I will say that if you can use your own weight like that you're pretty good.
