Totally irresponsible. I have no problem with people messing around on bikes. But that can happen on empty b roads, where you could have done these speeds legally and, more importantly, safely. To do that stuff on urban roads is insane, and when you get killed I only hope you don't take anyone with you.

i have this bike, i find when i accelerate hard in 1st gear, i have to give it quite a firm push for it to go in to second and it makes quite strange sound, if i drive the bike hard in 1st and just push up genetly it feels like the gears just grind and it goes in to neutral, any1 else find this??

Well my 600 bandit will top 800mph and has 100,000bhp so there and I'm not afraid to ride at twice the speed this guy does through a built up area with pedestrians, kids and traffic so that must mean I must nearly be the coolest person on all of Youtube!!! Top speed of my bandit 650N is 149mph. Naked bike with end can and panel filter with

Optimax fuel. A steering damper at that speed is recommended !!!

the Bandit style is a street bike 100%. Fazer is a 2 cylinder bike- Bandit is 4. I recently bought a Bandit 650 and I absolutely love it. It's a matter of style too. Bandit looks more of classic muscle bike and I like that alot, Fazer looks more

like a lightweight..The choice is yours..

I would do a top speed run but this was only my curtosy bike, had it for 5 weeks. Got myself a 1998 Bandit 1200 with a Yoshi RS-3 now :D. I can tell you this though, I had my Bandit 650 at 142mph but only because my mate had his Bandit 600 at 141mph haha, I think it could've got to 145 but not much more than that. Had my Bandit 1200 at 165mph. It's a beast! Streetfighters all the way!

Quite impressive ! .. got a 1250 myself. Only gain with the bigger capacity is torque. Have a look at a few of my on board vids. Hiding the speed from mr plod though

Yeah man this was my curtosy bike, I then got an SV650, blew up 2 engines and bought myself a 1998 Bandit 1200. I love the thing! It's a wheelie machine! I would like an 06 bandit 1200 though, has the new tail & shape, original 1200cc black engine, cames with polished engine cases as standard and all of the new stuff like fuel injection, digital clocks and my fav.... AN AUTOMATIC CHOKE! I used to love that thing, go outside on a cold morning, key on, start button and the bike does the rest :D

A have an 05 Bandit 650 and it does 60 in 6th at about 5000 rpm.

It is at 9,500rpm in 5th gear but 6th gear is virtually unusable in a windy day or if there are any hills, I can hit about 70mph on a flat bit of road on a nice day.

Ah. I only hit 70mph once and it was going downhill. Felt like I was about to die! I often get to 65mph on a flat though, takes a while.
