They are much less known because they don't want to be adressing issues that make their country look bad. Agreed, Europe's pride, nationalism and its values seem to be have been declining ever since the 21st century. It's bad enough to know that even the budgets for some of the armies of NATO are even shrinking steadily year by year, toleration of unreasonable religious extremists who have no intention of obeying the law, to name a few. Immigration ain't so bad but it needs to be strictly controlled. Maybe Europe needs to follow Japan and South Korea when it comes to immigration?

They are much less known because they don't want to be adressing issues that make their country look bad. Although I don't blame the russians for the raiding of berlin, after what the germans had done to russian cities. Both sides comitted attrocities though.. It's just that the holocaust cost the most lives.

I dont fully agree with them being justified as long as the Allies think of themselves as the moral standard. The good thing for this world is that we Germans -in wholehearted remorse of our crimes being far worse- accepted the Allied crimes as given and necessary to overcome Hitler quickly. I think this is the reason why the FRG succeeded and the Weimarian Replublic after WW1 failed.

But you have to understand that at that time in history Nazism was being tought as the right way to go, it took advantage of the hate against the jews and French for Germany's failures in the past, even if it wasn't their fault. The Nazi's were just people after all, they were just very deluded by propaganda and lies.
