  • is there any way i can download this song?

  • after 1999 olp became literally unlistenable

  • Comment removed

  • @Meggerr69 Thanks, that was what I was going for.

  • This is what I call Matthew Good B-Sides, meaning the songs all sound the same, even Matthew Good has commented that he hates his B-Sides.

  • I like Matthew Good, but this is what I call Matt Good-B Side crap, which means the song is very similar to all of his other B-Sides.

  • i love this song and cant get it out of my head

  • I like this song ore than most of his others, shame it couldn't be put on cd....

  • I only wish I could see him do the history teacher stuff live!!!!

  • I saw it in North Bay! It was awesome...

  • Matthew you are my killer, You kill me me with every frikrn song, so thank you, youre my brother, it doessn't really matter, nothing does. see you in December. P.S I love You .

  • what album is this from? I thought I had all of his albums but I don't have this song.

  • You should know that not all of his songs have graced his albums.

Do some research on your own friend, look it up. You never know what you might learn when you do a little searching on your own. :)

  • @emilyrl

yeah if I had time for that I would

This joint sounds like it would be on last of the ghetto astronauts.

  • Suit yourself. :)

  • you're cool cus you're busy, is that how you see it

that's so awesome, cus you do lots of stuff, so you must be productive

    or not.

  • @cutthatcity It's from Euphony, which was a demo tape he did.

  • @cutthatcity

yo its from his first cd it only had like 9 songs on it and this is one of them

  • @cutthatcity "In 1994, they (The Matthew Good BAND) won a prize in (local radio station's) CFOX 99.3's annual local Vancouver independent artist competition "Vancouver Seeds". The prize included recording time at a local studio/recording school, where, in September 1994, they recorded "15 hours ON A SEPTEMBER THURSDAY'. This DEMO TAPE included songs like "Second Sun", "Dancing Invisible", and "PUSH." **Hope this helps. Really worth following Matt's blog through website and FB.

  • @cutthatcity it is from an unreleased album called 15 hours on a September Sunday. commonly mislabeled as being on the previous demo euphony. this is my favorite Matthew Good band song followed by Last of the ghetto astronauts which i believe is on the same demo not the album by the same name.

  • I love the Nietzsche reference. What exactly does it mean though? hahahaha.

  • Matt Good is a genius... nobody even comes close when it comes to this music. His music has been the soundtrack of my life for the last 12 years.

  • i know this post was 2 months ago, but i just have to say, i agree. matt good IS a genius! he has also been the soundtrack to my life for the last decade....so where do you go to see him in concert? the word is he will be playing nyc this tour....

  • Same here :)

  • @kcdesert05 not even our lady peace? ;) matt good is epic, but i think olp has to be the best canadian artist...

  • @sitstandnow I agree Matt is the best, better even than olp.

  • This song makes absolutely no sense, and I love it. But does anyone know where I can download this? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

  • ya use lime wire its got it there i love Matt good i got ALL of His CDS lol his are the only ones i pay haha

  • He sounds like Cartman in this song. "Comeah Polly Prissah Pantzz"

  • Noht your pot pie kittah.........GODDAMMIT KITTAH NOT YAW POT PIE!!!!!!

  • Your opinion: worthless to me.

    Matthew Good Is A God!

  • i agree with it's a good song but your wrong on he can't sing he can just that this song isn't supposed to make sense listen to matthew good band if you want something to make sense if not don't complain he is awesome!

  • I agree, he puts things into perspective, atleast for me.

  • All musicians songs when they first start out in the music industry sound a little weird. But to say Matt Good can't sing is straight up blasphemy, he has one of the best voice's among most Canadian artisits these days, anyway. That's for sure.

  • He had more folk roots back then & had'nt totally embraced a more rock/pop mainstream sound yet.

    - I do believe he has one of the best voices among the WORLD'S artists.

  • Indeed my favorite musician as well, his music keeps me sane

  • I really love this song, it's another work of art. I don't care if he is an 'asshole' or not, he is def my favorite musician & I'm from the good old U S of A. Thanks for posting

  • I heard Matthew Good is an asshole

  • I'm pretty sure Matt didn't want this song to get out which is why he never released it to the public. There are a bunch of songs he didn't really release on Near Fantastica.

  • Well, I'm sorry for that... but his work is amazing, that's why I share it with the public.

Music should be shared so I take the time to upload it on youtube. People do deserve to hear these songs, they are incredible!

  • I think these songs were released when he was a folk singer before 95.

  • Does anyone know where I can download this?

  • Just freaking amazing

  • best canadian artist evr

  • I'm glad someone agrees with me!

  • @600sixtysixBullets dam right he is

  • Another major favorite.!!!

  • Matt really needs to do this and put it on a cd!

  • Matthew "Motormouth" Good.

  • awesome song, wonder why this didn't make it past a demo?

  • woww amazing....thanks soo much for posting this song

  • i used to listen to this song all the time. awesome stuff matt good's demos were

  • So...before the band.

  • I tend to refer to all his work as simply by Matthew Good. My view is that he was always the biggest contributor to the band. So... thats all really.

  • hah cool song

  • What album is this from?

  • An album called Euphony 1994 is the year on that one.

  • It was a demo tape in 1993 wasn't it?

  • I think the first line is actually "early morning tv show".

Love all the History Teacher stuff ^_^
