@randalisbitch yeah i love how much colms is different to the others, he isn't the best of them but all of them just sound everything in, colm breaks it up more which i think shows the phantoms anger more and it has nothing to do with him being unable to sound notes in, just listen to him singing bring him home and how he sounds all that in and is able to hold notes for a very long time

JOJ is amazing. He'll always be the best, and I'm only about 30% sure that's actually Ramin. Ramin is usually more... yelly. He really likes to yell, but in a good way. lol. And Michael has a great voice, but for me, he just isn't expressive enough somehow. Sorry Crawford fans, he's amazing, but the new ones just keep improving what he started.

Ramin: He sounds like a younger John Owen Jones. 10/10

Michael Crawford: He's definitely not as good JOJ, but he does sound pretty good. He also get's points for being the original Phantom. 8/10

Peter Lockyer: This was my first time hearing him. He was pretty good. 7/10

Colm Wilkinson: He's pretty good, but his accent's too thick. Stick to Les Mis. 6/10

In my opinion, Howard did the best at portraying what the moment is truly supposed to sound like. An epic and frightening moment for christine. he sounds actually perturbed to the point of anger. And Colm, what else can i say other than learn how to sustain a damn note. "I am there... inside" that is supposed to be sustained damn it. expression is one thing, but you wouldnt change a mozart opera just because of creative expression.

Howard Mcgillin's voice is incredibly rich in person, this recording does not do him justice. I have seen Earl Carpenter in London, he is very good, however if you listen he gets the lyrics wrong - "ignorant fool this slave of fashion basking in my triumph" instead of "ignorant fool this brave young suitor sharing in my triumph."

I would have to put Michael on top. His "insolent boy" is powerful and forceful sounding without being over the top. I also love the strong, melodic quality that MC possessed. Earl Carpinter and JOJ would probably be next. Theres another good video of MC doing this that is also amazing. At my least favorites on this would probably be Colm, Gary and Howard.
