This game perfectly works on Windows XP SP3. Otherwise, download and install special port like eduke, jfduke, dukester but for blood. I think Shadow Warrior more bleeding but less cruely than Blood.

Even though they were born from the 90's, they prefer Call of Duty or something like that. I got your message regarding the cd music for blood, I managed to get the music to work, download a cd image creator such as ImgBurn to make an ISO, then mount that ISO when using dosbox, that worked for me. Sorry if I replied late.

If you're saying Blood is a copy then you should call all first-person shooter games copies of DOOM. Ever since Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM were created, the term "DOOM clone" was made to describe other first-person shooters but the term is no longer used. The two games are what inspired all great action first-person shooters of today and hardly anyone realizes it or appreciates it. "Oh, DOOM is old and has bad graphics." So what?

I have played Medal of Honour AA but it didn't give me they joy which I had from BLOOD. I played blood in 2001 and I still memorize its each part. Look at the theme of the game, art work, U need a brain to understand these things.

Blood is better than Doom. Blood is also the best Build Engine game, great architechture, lots of cool secrets, voxels, true 'room over room' and 1 of the first games with alternate fire.

I found Shogo fun though, and NOLF kicked fucking ass, as did NOLF 2.

Monolith impressed the hell out of me after Blood, a game which I went out of my way to save money and advertisements for back in grade 6!

I didn't expect them to so amazingly keep up the momentum.

This is a really cool game. It's Monolith, the studio that made F.E.A.R that did this game back in the days.

This game fucking rules. This was at the epitome of fun games. Pretty well all games after this era have really sucked. I love kicking the zombies heads around. For those of you who never played it before check out a little site called Abandonia. Apparently they have pretty much abandoned this game so go get it. But make sure you download DOSbox on any newer operating systems and run it through DOSbox.

On a side note, it's also the only game where you can set a severed head on fire and kick it around to set other people on fire, strangely. It's also the only game I know of where the game will keep track of which of your snacks you've pissed on, so if you feed it to a cop, he'll throw up!

I see that everyone likes this game. Too bad it's very rare to find on eBay, Amazon, etc. Plus people sell it for a lot. Good luck with getting a copy and you must be using Windows 95, 98, or 2000 to run it normally. If you're using anything later then you have to use an emulator called DOSBox.  Search it and read the instructions on how to run it. Although, it requires a high end computer and I'm talking about a good processor, RAM, etc. Have fun.
