This is a great concept. Since LG may very well re-work some of these ideas, I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the final 20.
If LG uses this, they would probably include an inbetween shot that showed the daughter growing up, and then the parents 'grown up'. Also a more convincing VO would have window dressed this nicely.
