Good spotting there. These films were often re-released with updated footage making it very hard to tell which version it actually is. This version also has some movie/theatre info displayed in it such as "Annie get your gun / Ethel Merman" which dates it after 1946. Details updated.
At 12:18, there is a sign for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which says "Admission Free Every Day". Not anymore! I looked it up, and an adult ticket is now $20.

This must have been produce in 1952 not 1942 as the voice over mentions, and the film shows, the United Nations complex. UN is post WWII.
