It can, but on terms of makeing everyone happy it cant be race specific. I would like to see another one though but I think they are goignt o wait until the next expanction for the next one. Example BC = Blood Elf & Dranie; WtLK = Deathknight; Cata = Gobblin & Wargon; next one should have a hero class like WtLK did but for now all we can do is guess and hope.

I can see it happening in cata even more so with the lore around hyjal and illidans prison or should i say the Night elf Prison below Hyjal. Okay fairly good ideas, but the race/gender combo's were a little unrealistic. There are certain balance issues blizzard desperately avoids and giving one faction, or one gender a class all to themselves.
Blademaster would be hard to differenciate from a warrior/rogue.

it was only NE in Warcraft 3 but death knigths were only undead in there too and there now available for all races so if they made deamon hunters (really wish they would) will most likely be available for all races as blizzard are tryin to balance out horde and alliance class/race choices in cata and prob more so in forthcoming patches
mine are demon hunter basicly just a hunter with advanced melee combat and can summon demonic pets, also with the lich king being dead now i think they need a crusader class just a super charged pally class with a unique quest line centered around the fall of the lich king atarting level 60

That's so strange because many abilities/spells in the regular classes were taken from WC3 hero units! The Paladin was the first hero class in WoW, taken from the Hero unit of the Human race. However, particular specs had a hero unit equivalent(Beastmaster spec from Rexxar). Blademasters are much like Arms warrs, Far Seers are much like Enhancement shaman, etc.

The dk was basically a warrior/mage without many dots.
The new hero class should be a hunter/rogue. As someone said earlier, a Dark Ranger.
After that, a pally/ .......actually fuck the pallys. They get too much attention as it is.
Next, a shaman/priest/lock. A nice mixture of a little bit from all. Not as strong in the spell area as the pure class themselves but give them passive natural resistances to all magic. THOSE can be called the Spell Breakers.

Nice concept with other WoW models. I can respect that I'll need to use a bit of imagination. But lets be realistic about one thing. Dark Ranger... Most likely as it, according to the Lore, the only on that can be gained from both alliance and horde. for those who dont know what a Dark ranger is, its basically a banshee that has regained its physical self and thus more powerful then norm.

Blade Master = mostly an Arms Warrior
Tinker = If engineers had been a class instead of a proffesion
Demon Master= mostly a Combat Rogue.
Warden = a brand new class, a class that could be an archer/melee dps/tank with talents.
Spell Breaker = if paladin would have a 4th Talent tree that made them to casters (like a Shockladin).

I was thinking something along the lines of a ranger.
Leather/mail armour.
Dual weild guns or crossbows
Dagger
Spells kinda like that of a rogue and a hunter but more based on range attacks. Possibly a spell called ice shot which would freeze them, sense range requires, well, range.

@BlackmatterXD I think a Monk class would be pretty cool. A cloth wearing tank or dps no weapons or shields. Main stats would be Spirit and stamina, with a lot of resistances for tank spec and high critical strike chance for dps. could be made to be very cool

@Azurewrath232 I agree wow is too melee heavy already and that the next hero class should be a ranged class of some kind either a hunter like class or a caster class but a ranged one none the less. Exspecialy since the last one was a melee character, but the necromancer is already put into the warlock and they are not going to do a D2 style necromancer where you can summon up a huge army of minions. Just remember what ever the next hero will be it will match the expanction it comes out in.

Okay fairly good ideas, but the race/gender combo's were a little unrealistic. There are certain balance issues blizzard desperately avoids and giving one faction, or one gender a class all to themselves.
Blademaster would be hard to differenciate from a warrior/rogue.
Demon hunter and spell breaker have some merits.

it was only NE in Warcraft 3 but death knigths were only undead in there too and there now available for all races so if they made deamon hunters (really wish they would) will most likely be available for all races as blizzard are tryin to balance out horde and alliance class/race choices in cata and prob more so in forthcoming patches

mine are demon hunter basicly just a hunter with advanced melee combat and can summon demonic pets, also with the lich king being dead now i think they need a crusader class just a super charged pally class with a unique quest line centered around the fall of the lich king atarting level 60

They're all from WC 3, which I like, but:
Blademaster: Kinda like the warrior with certain talents.
Tinker: Wierd. I suppose it'd have a lot to do with Engineering, a skill.
Demon Hunter: Too much like the rogue, but nice idea.
Warden: Only female? What would they do?
Spell Breaker: Too narrow specialisation.

That's so strange because many abilities/spells in the regular classes were taken from WC3 hero units! The Paladin was the first hero class in WoW, taken from the Hero unit of the Human race. However, particular specs had a hero unit equivalent(Beastmaster spec from Rexxar). Blademasters are much like Arms warrs, Far Seers are much like Enhancement shaman, etc.

And for my two cents :
The dk was basically a warrior/mage without many dots.
The new hero class should be a hunter/rogue. As someone said earlier, a Dark Ranger.
After that, a pally/ .......actually fuck the pallys. They get too much attention as it is.
Next, a shaman/priest/lock. A nice mixture of a little bit from all. Not as strong in the spell area as the pure class themselves but give them passive natural resistances to all magic. THOSE can be called the Spell Breakers.

Nice concept with other WoW models. I can respect that I'll need to use a bit of imagination. But lets be realistic about one thing. Any hero class that they come out with, will never be race exclusive (don't quote me but it makes sense). Have a hard time thinking that Blizzard wants ONE race, of each faction, running around with the "new dk" (figuratively speaking) everyone bashes. "Oh look, its a blood elf......and look, another blood elf.....hey a blood elf!". Y'know what I mean?

Dark Ranger... Most likely as it, according to the Lore, the only on that can be gained from both alliance and horde. for those who dont know what a Dark ranger is, its basically a banshee that has regained its physical self and thus more powerful then norm.
