I was lucky enough to see AB in a small club in Texas a few years back and I got to meet and talk to Myles Kennedy after the show....he's absolutely as he seems in interviews just a nice super humble guy. Not only a talented singer but his guitar skills are formidable as well. I would say his guitar skills are on par with either Mark Tremonti or Slash... but he seems to have zero ego issues...I truly admire his character.

I watched Slash live and this guy blew me away with his vocals. He's one of the best rock singers out there today, there's absolutely no doubt about this. On top of that he's got a great on stage persona.
so that's why Myles is so cool and humble, gotta love people from places other than New York and California.
Myles is great live, he does all of the "rock star" show in stage but without making you feel lower than him, more like he understands and more importantly enjoys his role as an entertainer, not to mention how talented the guy is.
I was lucky as hell last week- I was making a phone interview with Slash on the phone and I fully support what Myles said about him- Slash is a super positive and great guy, I highly respect him..
At the same time Slash also said very good words about Myles- he deserves that

@RubySnow101 - I met Myles and the rest of Alter Bridge after a show in Denver about 2 years ago. Myles is an incredibly nice guy...really humble, very quiet, just a totally down to earth guy. The rest of the band was really great too. These guys were so nice they stood out in the cold to hang out with fans after the show for more than TWO hours!! One of the most memorable rock band experiences I've ever had. I love Myles and Alter Bridge to death and will see them every time they come back
@SoldierSide77 How in the world did you get the opportunity to meet the band? That would be just amazing! There is plenty of buz out there about the release of the new album this fall, followed by the European tour...but when are they going to perform again in the states? I would love to know 'cause I can't wait to see them live!
@Adcamdom - It's not all that hard, especially at smaller venues. Wait out back after the show, (near the tour bus is the best spot, since they have to go there eventually), and after a bit the band will come out and meet fans, sign autographs, take pictures, etc. Sometimes you have to wait half an hour or more for them to come out, and you may have to stand in a big line, but it's well worth it. Any decent band will do meet n greets. The smaller the venue, the better your chances. Be patient.
What a great guy, very impressive humility and confidence.
