In terms of presentation, this program lacks flair.. there's no presence or personality. I think maybe the stress of checking off the technical elements one-by-one might be taking its toll on the presentation elements.
Well, I just watched a vider clip of her intentional, malicious acts towards Yuna while Yuna is practicing. I don't find any sportmanship in her. I know how frustrated she is by many other great athletes and do not want to be buried behind history. However, her trully disgusting inner ugliness is reflected upon her skating performance. I am sick of her.
Megudani, I don't think those practice clips of "impeding" were actually intentional. I think it's ridiculous because first of all, there is limited ice space--someone is bound to interrupt some else's practice regardless. Second of all, if you don't like Fumie, I can respect that, but don't start playing the blame game that the actual cause of Fumie's subpar performance is due to Kim's hindered practice, which I find highly unlikely.
I admired her so much as a skater, but I have to say SHE'S OVER with this performance. She's not going to be on the team for Vancouver. I'm really sure about that. Like Saphead above have mentioned, where is her speed, her joy of skating?
the skating aside, her costume really is awful and her hair looks sun damaged. she seems tired. i hope she gets it together because i know she wants to go to vancouver.
Jumps and skating skills aside, I can tell you what went wrong with this performance--she just isn't skating with the same joy that she used to! Lol, I know that doesn't take a rocket scienentist to figure out, but at least under Morozov her presentation was still somewhat there. And her costume is hideous! I love Fumie, but if she continues to skate like this, then she just doesn't have a glimmer of a hope of making it to Vancouver. And that makes me sad. :(
This is heartbreaking. Last year with Morosov, even her worst skates broke 100 points. She had great levels on the spins and footwork, but these programs don't showcase her strengths. Where are the speed and expression? Where is that wonderful scratch spin???

Suguri's changed.
Eversince Arakawa who was her greatest rival won gold in Torino.
She used to say she didn't care much about winning, but she skates to please the audience, etc..
But in recent years she started saying she wants to win more than ever.
She has become too desperate, as to change coaches every season, struggling to find the one who can make her win.
As a result I think she lost the heart-warming sensitivity she used to have.
It's such a waste for her to be like this.
