  • Emil Lang was a hero

"blitzkriegu" to 10 000 sowieckich czołgów.

  • Thanks Polish Air Force for holding the line when it counted most.

  • wonderful pictures and song....I am beginning to learn czech and polish, and I am as well addicted to the "flying-virus"...I feel big remorse when thinking about the relation between our two nations...I want to know more of Poland, I want to know more of the slavic people and all the other countries in the east...I am glad to live in a time this wish of mine is possible....I love the video of Yours...thx for the upload...friendly greetings from the valleé de la Sarre Germany/France

  • this is "Łoś" Bomber- beautifull huh?

  • Yes , This is PZL.37 ''Łoś'' :)

  • AT FIRST I DONT KNOW WHAT IS LOS and second i like that plane whats the problem

  • ''Łoś' - without Polish characters -'' Los ''is a nickname of bomber PZL.37 ;) ''Łoś'' mean ''Elk'' ;)

  • it doesent reminds me an elk :/

but I dont make nicknames :)

  • Virlando, poda maila, dam Ci pięknięjszą wersję tej piosenki...przedwojenną :)

  • Daj mnie!!! :-) Też.

  • Shchetchynianin. You are correct. Coningham would have been a commander of the Polish airmen, and this is the reason he was in the photo. I agree with your comments about the Brits (and others). The way the Poles (and others) were treated after all their help was appauling. This should never be forgotten. It is called treachery.

  • Are these Poles. The guy on the left in the pic in 2:01 is Arthur Coningham, a New Zealander.

  • But wasn't he a commander of the allied air force under which command Polish bomber squardons were serving under?

  • I didn't understand the words, but ggod video and yes, the polish pilots had first to battle the germans, flee the russians (many were shot, remember Katyn), and did a good job fighting together with the british.

  • Hehe! Polish is difficult language for foreginers :) This is Polish military song : ''Marsz Lotników'' - in English : ''March of pilots''

  • Polish pilots developed a very important role in the England battle defending democracy and peace in Europe.

  • Ama. The Poles weren't the only ones. There were the Czechs, Scots and Americans too.

  • Yes, but Polish pilots are sometimes forgotten heroes :(

  • Vir. There is far more said about Polish pilots than Scottish pilots. there were more Scottish pilots. I did know a Polish pilot quite well. He shot down five German planes in one day during the Battle of Britain. I only found this out in a newspaper in 1990, the 50th aniversary. He was an airfield inspector.

  • As far as I remember one of best pilots of Squardon 303 was a Czech. Didn't hear nor read about any Yankees though... Knew that there were some American volunteer pilots in Polish-Soviet war 1919-1920 though...

  • And how did Brits pay back? By selling Poles (and few other nations) to Soviets, what resulted in further death of dozens of thousands innocent people.. As some say "Save me Lord from my allies, I will manage by my own"

  • *I will manage with my enemies by my own:P
