@diagnosticator It does have Wifi. Only a few units don't have the wifi chip, but most of them do.

It does have english interface too, but this is an early beta firmware and it hasn't been fully translated (finished) yet. All the official ly released firmwares have english interface though.

It's the infrared sensor which is invisible to your eyes, but visible to the camera.

You know like how symbian has Carbide C/C++, what does this phone have?

There's a Meizu SDK, which I believe is using C and C++ like you said. Sorry I'm not a developer and don't know about these things much.

Well, the CEO promised they would build this UI on top of Android too, but we have to wait a long time for that to happen... Some guys already ported Android to Meizu M8, but it's only a proof of concept for now.

I mean all the applications - I suppose not all of them are in the firmware. At least in my it was only in chinese so I had to install all the other stuff. So what applications were installed on this M8? And are there any bugs known for now?

All of those apps are in the firmware. Of course there are lots of bugs now, because this firmware is about 50% ready only for now.
