  • Mormonism is an insane cult just like every other religion. Including yours.

  • all religions are bullshit!

  • Keep exposing Mormonism Shawn. Great summary.

  • good job!

  • I'd like to see the evidence of Jesus that is found everywhere. Because last I heard, there's no evidence outside the bible that he even existed. It should also be noted that the bible is NOT a historical document.

  • @bluepikachuu you are wrong, who told you that?

  • Twist it Shawn, Twist it!

  • this guy is a jackoff.

  • @lak3b0dom thats real christian....

  • @Rypaul5217 so a magical man in the sky one day decided he was going to create the earth and man in seven days? doesn't sound much better than "empty space deciding to have existEnce and creating something out of nothing". its pretty much the same story with a different protagonist.

  • This man were lying to his lider for about 40 years, of course he is sick about all his fake life.

That leads him to be biased; A certain amount of bias could be expected from a group that creates an entire "center" to research Mormonism. What is the purpose of such a group? The presentation of the findings makes it appear that it is to discredit and marginalize. The LDS maintain no such "center"

  • I feel so sorry for this man...

  • @dracotharpian God doesnt, He knows him, so I wouldnt worry yourself

  • Jesus Christs words aren't supported by facts and evidence everywhere.

  • So Joe Smith began a new religion out of thin air and tour ancestors believed it and they brainwashed you into believing it? Rypaul, stop wasting your time with such silly superstitions

  • No, the planets came out of a coin filled hat.

    @Rypaul5217

  • @keystonebrotherb ---In the beginning, empty space decided to have existance and create something out of nothing...hmmm

  • The fact that this guy is exposing all the ridiculous and obviously fraudulent actions of Joseph Smith and his beliefs, and then in the same breath babbles about how we should just follow the original Bible alone. Yeah, because that fairy tale is SO much more convincing. Magic underwear and people on the su?, how dumb! Good the thing the Bible is rock solid! Who cares if he's exposing a fraud? he's just supporting another fraud that's just as unbelievable, and with very violent ramifications.

  • @CharlestonChew89 what's interesting is that the so-called 'fraud' you're referring to, is one of the fastest growing churches in existence. I myself have had doupts about the mormons and their church and practices. But it seems far fetched to me, that so many are willing to believe the Bible to be the word of God. Yet, from what I can tell, it seems to do just as the mormons claim, which is support the Book of Mormon, I know many mormons. This guy is apparently an ex-mormon. Suprise, suprise!

  • In the beginning...Man created God.

  • @keystonebrotherb the mormon man in their mormon world... LOL

  • @keystonebrotherb --in the beginning stars just popped out of nowhere all by themselves.

  • Mormons think god is a flesh and blood man. That he had literal sex with marry, that anyone can become a god and get their own universe. They wear magic underwear. They don't drink coffee or tea because it's bad for you, but drink hot cocoa which has caffeine in it One more thing they think native Americans were a Hebrew speaking Egyptian hieroglyph writing lost tribe of Israelites. Oh and the Garden of Eden in Missouri.

  • @Justafrinian ---one rule of thumb when it comes to fiction created by an uneducated amature, the picture will be first and foremost vague, and in your face, full of holes. (missing information on purpose,) This is to allow the reader to fill it in themselves. and they do. we dont, we ask first then read, while others read first then fill in the blanks themselves. this is where most of the answers to these arguments tend to be. vague at best just like the fiction they exibit.

  • @Justafrinain Do you really believe in the real Jesus or in someone idea of Jesus coming over to the Americas (which appears to be only someone's fantasy idea, or pen novel, and is another Jesus. We can tell between the two Jesus'... Joseph Smith Jesus was not the Bible Jesus, but a made up Jesus. its more a storybook fantasy Jesus than anything else. I cant see how the Book of Mormon Jesus is Jesus. Just because a man copies portions of the Gospel of Matthew word for word doesnt make it Jesus.

  • @Rypaul5217 I totally agree with you. In fact I would not believe it myself if I did not know what I know. All I can say is that until you open your mind you'll be limited. I have watched those films you mentioned. I've read the materials against the church, But it doesn't seem like you've watched Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration or read the materials of the church like the Book of Mormon. Unless it's too "false" for you to read or to watch.

  • @justafrinian ---The Book of Mormon is pure fiction. a man made fabrication.

  • @Rypaul5217 Look at it this way, if it's fiction as you say, if you read it and you pray and you feel it's false, or can find false information in there(make a list), you'll have even more material to rebut persons like me with. If you don't want to read it personally, well... a person that has made up their mind has no room for any change. Even if it's making room for more truth, Have a good day and God bless. Please keep reading the Bible regardless. We both agree that it's God's word.

  • @justafrinian ---Ok where do I begin? When dealing with Smith claims we must examine what he and others said about it, and we want ot know exactly what went on back then, ie how the BoM came to be, and what does history and the evidience say...well I dont know if you have seen the YT video ---

"The Book of Mormon Translation (by Jim Catlin)

but He does a better job of explaining it, I dont have room in here to write it all, if you have any questions, I will be here to answer them.

  • @Justafrinain--but when Satan decieves men unaware, he comes as an angel from heaven, He appears to be blissful, white and very bright and from there he weaves his many lies...Paul writes "and no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." 2 Cor 11:14 The Bible also says that Lucifer is a destroyer of cities thereof, Isa 14:17 but Christ's light is the love of God for the whole world.

  • @justafrinain--Why do I believe Jesus Christ is Lord? because Jesus said whosoever believes in him shall have everlasting life, and only God can give eternal life. We bleive that the Father and the Son are one. not one person, one deity. Christ was a man with a soul just like you and I are, born of women, but that God had made him, was brought forth by the Holy Spirit through Mary. the Holy Spirit is God, There is only one God, who is the only creator, the only Spirit.

  • @Justafrinain ---entering into man hood I was living in a world of sin, and darkness, partying, swearing, smoking etc. but no one could tell me who God was, and I had no way to be forgiven for my sins before God, only the Bible tells men to repent and turn to God, and recieve his Son. the God of the Old testament bears itself witness through Moses, is the same God who sent his only begotten Son into the world to save it from sin. so is your question to us, why do we believe in Jesus?

  • @Rypaul5217 No am not asking why "we" believe in Jesus, just you. I am not aware of any photographs of Jesus or of any paintings He posed for. The tablets you spoke of talk about events and the people of the area not of Jesus himself, but yet you still believe. I have no proof that the children of Israel crossed the Red sea, except for the fact that it talks about it in the Bible. In fact it's unbelievable unless you know God's power. Would you agree?

  • @justafrinain but to answer you from a personal testamony: I believe in God and that God is eternal (meaning never begins nor ends) and that God is 3 OMNI's ie..omniscience, omnipotent and omnipresence, God being 3... are one God fullness of his own expression, called the spirit of God, Jesus said God is a spirit, something invisible, ever present, The Bible teaches what I already know about God in my conscience, God speaks to us through his word, and Jesus said "My sheep hear my voice".

  • @Rypaul5217 Here here! That is what I was looking for. Your belief in God and in Jesus our Savior-- who is good to save. I wasn't trying to compare the Bible and the Book of Mormon- which I know we could disagree on all day, but get to the point, your personal belief in Jesus as our Lord. And you won't let anyone tell you otherwise, am I correct? In the Book of Mormon it says:"O repent ye, repent ye! Why will ye die? Turn ye, turn ye unto the Lord your God. " true right?

  • @Justafrinian ---Numerous clay tablets in the thousands from Bablyon and other places in Turkey have recorded what I have mentioned earlier, the Jews .These are orginals, not copies, we also have the dead sea scrolls ... Are you asking us where do we get our proof that the Bible is the word of God or that it was written by the Jewish Holy men? I believe I have already answer your question. prophecies that have been fullfiled, and we see the Jews today. whats your problem?

  • @justafrinian ---let me know when and if you watch the YT video I just mentioned. I am curious what you think about it. DNA is pretty powerful stuff. let me tell you.

  • @justafrinian---Smith perhaps was playing on the slavery issue which was the politcal controversy climate of his day. Well in addition there are a number of things that are false about this prophecy 1...The civil war did not pour out upon all nations. or a World War 2...Great Britain was not involved with the Southern States 3...Slaves did not rise up against their masters, 4..There was no earthquake or plague ( just bold rambling) Finally this prophcy was never published during his life time.

  • @Rypaul5217 All of these are very good points. You are very good at analyzing the issues at hand and not taking things at face value. You've given me some prophecies from the Bible and I agree with you that these did come to pass. That's why I know the Bible is God's word, but not the only reason. How do you know these things actually took place though and weren't made up as an elaborate hoax? We have none of the original documents, and all we have are copies. Even the prophecies happened before

  • @justafrinian ---In the first place the Bible has tons of evidence that it is from antiquity, includes cites found and has 24000 manuscripts. Other nations recorded about the Jewish people, so the Jewish race being present is one witness of authenticity, In contrast however, with Joe's storybook we dont have any evidence, nothing can validate it, and its people are no where to be found, and the DNA study has shone where the American Natives came from. NE Asia. See YT "DNA vs the Book of Mormon"

  • @Rypaul5217 I've seen all of these questions and watched the videos, but that doesn't answer my main one to you today, or are you afraid to answer it? I mean the Qu'ran has names of places and people that existed and even the names of prophets, but that doesn't make it true or false based on that alone. How do you know that the Bible is the word of God? And don't say we or history or us Christians, I mean you, outside of what you have told me, how do you know?

  • @justafrinain--- whosoever believes and places his trusts in a false prophet shall recieve a false prophet as his eternal reward. Even Satan can give revelation, we know this because there how many "word of God" books are out there. for example "the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ" is another story of the life of Jesus, Publ. by Levi 1911 which also copies sections out of the 4 gospels, & has him speaking to the multitudes. healing the sick, giving prayer and calling disciples...sound familuar?

  • @Rypaul5217 Doctrine and Covenants section 87 the civil war was prophesied by Joseph Smith, and it did happen. Furthermore it was 25 years before it broke out. That is just one example. but as I asked before, how do you know that the Bible is true? If you're speaking about prophecies that came true. Which ones? (I'm not challenging you on those, I'm just interested to know.)

  • @justafrinian no...Im am lead to believe that Smith read an article that reported the news about south Carlolinian rebellion, given to him by Orson Hyde who left Boston in Dec 1832, Smith simply took from the views of his time, a Boston paper published an article just weeks before Smith got a hold of it.. This paper is "Boston Daily Advertiser & Patriot, Dec 10 1832 recorded the Governor of So Carolina as saying that So. Carolina was prepared to resist the US Government by force is necessary. "

  • @Rypaul5217 What witnesses do you have that this is what happened? I have many. I have read and cross referenced and studied the Bible and the Book of Mormon and they support and testify of each other. I have a witness from the Spirit that it was translated by the power of God. Not only this but I have family members who have written of the events and knew Joseph Smith PERSONALLY. I wasn't there when Jesus hung on the cross, and we have no records surviving from the period either.

  • @justafrinian---Well there are known to be 326 Messianic prophecies that surround the life of Christ were fullfiled. Such as being born of a virgin, in Bethlehem, being out of the seed of David, being betrayed with thirty pieces of silver, not a bone of him shall be broken, even being crucified in PS 22 ISA 53 even has 12 predictions about Christ each one has been fullfilled. Other Prophcies are in the book of Daniel describing 4 Empires, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and finally the Romans.

  • @justafrinain--If we see that a man claiming to be a prophet and his words and are inconsistant and contradicts what is already in the Bible, and he adds in his own words to Bible scripture, his doctrines, then that man is only using his own religious imagination. David Moses for example made a number of false prophecies of the coming of the Lord which did not come to pass, so did Charles Russel of the JW's, their literature "Watch Tower Magazine" also claims to be the word of God.

  • @justafrinian---watch a YouTube video called "Joseph Smith / Jesus Christ" this is an honest and complete look at the claims of Joseph Smith and the witness of Jesus Christ according to the Bible..

  • @justafrinian ---ok so if J Smith made the whole thing, how would you know it? Are we suppose to be that naive & gullible to believe in such plates that are no where, and in a stone box that is also no where and in a language that is unknown to anyone? Jesus said "beware of false prophets, insomuch as they will shew signs and wonders that if could if possible decieve the very elect." Do you know that the Bible gives a the correct TEST for what is a prophet or a false prophet? See Deut 18:22

  • @Rypaul5217 Very good point. He could have made it all up. I have a question for you, how to you know that the Bible is the true word of God?

  • @justafrinian -We know Bible (cannon) is of God by seeing many of its fullfilled prophecies it has, The Bible is the real macoy not the counterfiet or the artifical. We know God by his word, but there are many counterfeit word of God literatures out there, in fact, this is one of the marks of a cult, A leader prophet who adds his own bogus scripture to the mix. (and there are many who claim to be a prophet of God) but we are TEST these so called PROPHET men according to the TEST in Deut 18:22.

  • Joseph Smith smoked some heaaaavy shit!!!

  • I invite you all to read the Book of Mormon yourself and to judge it based off of the words from the Bible and to pray to God about it. You'll find out that it is true and that it was translated by the gift of God. Joseph Smith was just a man, but he was also God's Chosen prophet to restore the fullness of the gospel. I know that and I invite you to find that out too. Try watching Joseph Smith: the Prophet of the Restoration and judging for yourself. Friendly replies are welcome.

  • lmao golden plates, stupidest shit ever made up!

  • Frankly, I think all man authored, endorsed and or promoted religions are suspect. Agendas and propoganda are the order of the day as it relates to them all. That said, I can and do respect them all. Believe as you will.

  • personally I don't see how Mormons can believe this garbage not I know why some of them convert I would have never joined . this dude was clearly off his rocker.

  • "f the only way you could feel good about yourself is by putting someone else down. This is a psychological disorder we know as insecurity."

I see this as an state of unhappiness. They left the church but they couldn´t left it alone. For everytime they speak about us in that way they are extending their state of unhappiness.

  • All religion are actually signs of insanity. The story is simply unbelieveable therefore those who follow the doctrines of the rediculous religions are insane

  • @allanhill1 ---just curious are you an athiest?

  • @Rypaul5217 Well I do not accept the term atheist as much as I prefer to say that I am a human being that does not hold any beliefs in god or gods. I do not mean the comment as a personal attack nor as an insult. I honestly feel that any person who can hear the religious stories and believe them in any way is showing signs of insanity.

  • @allanhill1 ---Well your opinion is interesting, I sometimes think that athiest are insane...lol .Well I suppose that makes me a little bit insane...I am a thiest..but I am also a scientist,,..(not by creationist model) but I do believe in a creator, both of eternal power and wisdom..Well I too am a human being last time I checked. I suppose I might be trying to become something else, I dont know, lol Well just curious if you believe in a higher intelligence, or that we were made from nothing.

  • God’s plan for us is simple to understand, but it takes a lifetime to follow. Following the plan of happiness is easier when we do the simple things, like reading the scriptures, going to church, praying, and serving others. Jesus Christ was the perfect example in following God's plan. It takes faith and works for us to be like Jesus, but it is worth it now and will be in eternity.

  • @gemmalizbeth1 ---You sound like you are brain washing yourself. You know you can be sincere but you also can be sincerely wrong.

  • Haa! Have you ever heard of that being taught in sunday school? Isnt it time you just wake up?!......

  • Im embarrassed for all anti mormon protesters. Imagine if the only way you could feel good about yourself is by putting someone else down. This is a psychological disorder we know as insecurity. If you really feel that you need to put something or someone down to bring yourself up, then you have problems of your own that you need to sort out before you try helping others. Does the way mormons worship really effect your personal relationship with jesus?... absolutely not.

  • @oldmanclemens16 --I disagree, I have seen many ex-Mormons out there sharing why they don't believe in Mormonism anymore, and these are real people...see YT video "DNA vs the Book of Mormon" It is a mature outlook about how some ex-Mormon "scientists" and anthropologists have come to grips with reality about Native American origins.

  • South Park mocks even about Jesus.

  • If your searching for the truth, watch south park and the lightness will show upon you

  • Joseph met all the cool people from the Bible, but did he get their autographs? If so,he must be a prophet.

  • Found out this clown screens all his calls and there are tons of people he won't talk to . So much for getting the truth out .

  • @mollymu1 Please visit mormonthink (dot).com

  • @mollymu1 ---what testskriftene says is interesting dont you think?

  • In regards to the history of the people who believed Joseph Smith at their time, their religion should be called Moronism. In regard to those who still believe the Bible to be backed by evidence: the main argument of the Bible, namely: that God exists, is backed by no evidence whatsoever. The rest of it: that he created the universe and us, is plainly false; and that Jesus is his son and died for us, would be just vacuously false because it follows from a premise that is highly probably false .

  • @biokant ---the universe didnt create itself out of nothing. so how did it get here? and if the unverse was always here for eternity, how do you explain how it got here in only in this section of space?

  • It is so sad that after a good beginning, what appears to be an enlightened critic of Joseph Smith and Mormonism then turns out to be a Cristian innuendo, as absurd as the faith it purports to debunk.

  • I cant almost garanty he went for a walk in a field ate some mushrooms he found on the floor and started to trip balls.

  • though it clearly says in the bible that seers were not of God, he missed that part. His teachings say that we can become gods, sounds like luciferian teachings, misguiding believers. Read the bible, not the BOM it tells it in the bible. Though many will say lord lord, we cast out demons and did works in your name, but Jesus will say depart from me, for I do not know you...Working your way to godhood and not by faith. Ruling other planets and spawning spirits after death? Not the bible I read

  • I think Joseph smith indeed did see things....just from the wrong spirits. Everything I've read about him could be tied in with some forms of occultism. He had a "seer stone" that he could translate with. A rock in a hat. He saw lights and "angels" that claimed to be certain biblical characters. Lucifer can transfigure into a being of light for deceptive purposes. Beings on the moon? those are the spirits of the air, demons..just look at his teachings. Jesus and God differ from the bible.

  • whoa! every comment i see is somones argument/reply!

  • @MrkGati ---The first cell would be illogical for it to start all itself just the right way the first time, (and survive) having all the systems in play to recieve and build upon the DNA, un zipping itself for the first time? So that it could divide and reproduce a copy of itself inside a membrane that its own DNA had information about? arp? This is like a bag of hammers in a potatoe sack, full of baby carpenters who knew how to rebuild their own house and more baby carpenters in return.

  • @Rypaul5217 The bible talks about unicorns 9 times, In Psalms, Deuteronomy, numbers, Isaiah, but is actually talking about Rhinoceros. A horse with a horn in his head is make believe, fictional. U'nicorn, unus, one and cornu, horn, an animal with one horn, the monoceros, this name is often applied to the rhinoceros, there are two species, bicornis 2 horns, Rhinoceros 1 horn, I'm sure you knew that. :)

  • @MrKGati--The reason I spotted you about the unicorn thingy is because any creature real or unreal has nothing to do with actual theology, and so you were going off on a tangental reasoning (being silly) that had nothing to do with real science nor about the matter at hand about how the universe started itself or how life began. which is the mainly why I believe there is an intelligence to the making of this universe. (Albert Einstein) Unicorns is not being debated here.

  • @MrKGati---Which is the main stem of my argument, the universe could not have up and started all by itself, something either had to have existed before and thus you have an eternal paradox or God spoke the big bang into existance, so lets leave it at that, you think that life started all by itself, I believe that there was an intelligence at work behind the scenes. sorry but the biological systems far too complex to have made itself and designed itself to become what we are today.

  • @MrKGati Ok so tell me about unicorns, lol since you think that they are more important than knowing God. better yet, tell me how all of life, for which you think life started all by itself. knew how to put itself altogether like a jigsaw puzzel litterally with billions of pieces with such amazing accuracy? Where did my other question go? How many pieces of this vast puzzel could evolution create each year till we get billions of different pieces that now make up our anamony?

  • @MrkGati --cont---This idea is a very good point. How does a creature all of a sudden come up with something as complex as the eye, but with only parts of it being made over many thousands of generations? and this was for one purpose, to eventually create an eye down the road? I cant imagine such a creature with only half an eye for many thousands of years, (no fossil of) Hence, how should the eye know how to go about to improve upon itself with its as many constructions for us to see with?

  • @MrkGati Here is another idea for you to think about. How many differing parts are there in the human body? I would declare much more than 600 million. (The time of evolution is 600 million years) Even the single celll has an amazing number to itself, the number is very high for each organ with millions of parts, even the brain has much more, so how many parts of our body per year in evolution makes the sum total of our anamony? Remember I said differing parts, even the eye is amazingly complex.

  • @MrkGati--Faith? What is Faith? Faith puts it all together and completes the problem for a sane humanity. its you who are confused. "oh ye of little faith" lol

The heathens, during the time of the Hebrews, sacrifice babies into the fire unto their gods..this is why this rightous nation came, to take them out and to be a witness of rightiousness unto the whole world. Only the good over comes the evil in this world, but only faith produces the power of it.

"the meek shall inherit the earth"

  • @MrKGati---if the law of Moses was to exist, it was not for the rightious to enjoy but the wicked to know. You know God with your understanding. No physics or chemistry or astromony biology, ecology, can bring you to God. I on the other hand understand the philosophy of Christ, and his teaching about life and why the cross was important...think of it...what would the Romans be doing to people for many years further had Christ not took it to himself? Ans. they still be crucifying people.

  • Even if the mormon religon is wrong, they are the nicest, most giving people in the world. I wish every one would follow the MORAL values taught by the mormons. Plus its only a 200 year old rligion and has just about 13 million members. There must be something to it. The fastest growing christian religion in the world.

  • @MrkGati--let me just say that I believe that the universe is indeed old. I also believe that supernovas are the cause of atoms and their constructions, I also believe that the Earth was formed over time in the solar disk, and our sun began like any other star, I also believe that God is behind the machinery, how gravity works, of how life is formed etc, all throughout the sciences God is the direct creator of all the laws and how this universe and life was formed.. I am a theistic scientist.

  • @Rypaul5217 What the hell? You get one comment box, not 4. If it doesnt fit in one then dont say it. You have zero evidence that there is a god, or that there was any creator or creative force. You should go look up Betrand Russell's teapot arguement. You seriously think that the human purpose is to know god? Wow does that sound crazy. Remember, only one comment box reply

  • @MrKGatl --sorry for the long philosophical essay...ok I will comment only once or twice.

    thats fine.

  • @MrkGati---That is to say that if there is no God then there could never be an intellgence to think about it. (is something to think about...lol ) For I have come to understand that if there are an infinitie number of realities, ie. space and time would be one, matter and energy woutd be yet another, would be also no limit to eternity, then one of these realities would have to be the mind of God given that image of all knowledge, hence we must be here if only for this reason, to know God.

  • @MrKGati--Logically, all matter had to have a beginning at sometime, and without an intelligence, of how it got started by itself, would be an on going myth, that before atoms there was something eternal and self generating, utlmately is passed into becoming energy and matter would then have to be eternal as well,

  • wow theres so much evidence that this religion is crap and people still follow it why mormons not to judge but how stupid can you be he translated plates through a stone that he put in a hat what?? and the plates werent even any thing he said they were man you guys gotta wake up and follow the true religion of christianity cause joseph smiths lies aint getting you to heaven hope you see the truth and god bless

  • it's it time that you all see all Christianity is a myth?? the book reads like Grimm's Fairy Tales

  • con man here here

  • And even unto the great and last day ,when all people ,and all kindreds, and all nations and tongues shall stand before God ,to be judged of their works ,whether they be good or whether they be evil

If they be good , to the resurrection of everlasting life , and if they be evil ,to the resurrection of damnation ;being on a parallel , the one on the one hand and the other on the other hand according to the mercy and the justice and the holiness which is in Christ ,who was before the world began.

  • Oh, YES .. he was a con man.. he was a sexual predator, too..

  • ...That we, through the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen the plates... And we also know that they have been translated by the gift and power of God, for his voice hath declared it unto us;...we have seen the engravings which are upon the plates...an angel of God came down from heaven, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the plates...And it is marvelous in our eyes. OLIVER COWDERY, DAVID WHITMER, MARTIN HARRIS

  • A young lad . . . , Joseph Smith, of incomparable faith, broke the spell, shattered the 'heavens of iron' and reestablished communication. Heaven kissed the earth, light dissipated the darkness, and God again spoke to man, revealing anew 'his secret unto his servants the prophets.' (Amos 3:7.) A new prophet was in the land and through him God set up his kingdom, never to be destroyed nor left to another people—a kingdom that will stand forever. . . .Spencer W. Kimball

  • "You don't know me; you never knew my heart. No man knows my history. I cannot tell it: I shall never undertake it. I don't blame any one for not believing my history. If I had not experienced what I have, I would not have believed it myself. I never did harm any man since I was born in the world. My voice is always for peace." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • Howard W. Hunter "Joseph Smith's...truthfulness...that he saw the Father and the Son... to the reality of that divine revelation. He was..to reestablish the true and living church, restored...as it existed in the day of the Savior's own mortal ministry...he said: 'I understand my mission and business. God Almighty is my shield; and what can man do if God is my friend? I shall not be sacrificed until my time comes; then I shall be offered freely'

  • "Joseph Smith is a great man, a man of principle, a straight forward man; no saintish long-faced fellow, but quite the reverse. Indeed some stumble because he is such a straight forward, plain spoken, cheerful man, but that makes me love him the more. . . . I have seen and been in the company of Joseph, and heard him speak several times. I love him, and believe him to be a Prophet of God, and called to do a great work in these last days on the earth." John Needham

  • Why was Joseph Smith persecuted? Why was he hunted from neighborhood to neighborhood, from city to city, and from State to State, and at last suffered death? Because he received revelations from the Father, from the Son, and was ministered to by holy angels, and published to the world the direct will of the Lord concerning his children on the earth. • This guy had my support until the last 30 seconds when he starts talking about the 'proven' truth of JC. Yet another fraud.

  • "I am a lover of the cause of Christ and of virtue, chastity, and an upright, steady course of conduct and a holy walk. I despise a hypocrite or a covenant breaker. I judge them not; God shall judge them according to their works. I am a lover even of mine enemies, for an enemy seeketh to destroy openly. I can pray for those who despitefully use and persecute me, but for all I cannot hope." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • @scottwins2 "The talisman of Jupiter can protect you, I'm a believer since I wear one. A talisman just like mine can be yours for 50 pence plus postage and handling..." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • @eeikman Your quote is a lie.

  • @scottwins2 Joseph Smith: "I go as a lamb to the slaughter, a lamb with fully loaded pistol!"

  • @scottwins2 "In Young v. Young, Ann Eliza Webb Young sued Brigham Young for divorce in 1873, claiming neglect, cruel treatment, and desertion (CHC 5:442-43). ...Claiming that Young was worth $8 million and had a monthly income of $40,000, she asked for $1,000 per month pending the trial, a total of $20,000 for counsel fees, and $200,000 for her maintenance. Brigham Young denied her charges and claimed to have a worth of only $600,000 and a monthly income of $6,000.

  • @scottwins2 If Brigham Young's personal estate was $600,000 what is Pres Monson's personal, earthly, estate worth, I wonder???

  • I'm not a fan of Mormonism, but I think it's hilarious that you spend several minutes bashing it just to finish it all off by expecting us to believe in a man born from a virgin who came back from the dead to move a boulder that weighed several tons. Mormons are gullible fools, but don't think that you're any different.

  • @CatchinPredators2011 <--- Another man with father issues.

  • @eeikman

Please, explain how you can attribute what I said to having "father issues". This video spends 3.5 minutes bashing Mormonism and then attempts to shove another religion down the viewers throat. Even if you're a Christian, you can't deny what's right in front of you. Again, please explain how pointing that out has anything to do with "my father". Don't backpeddle here, either. Explain yourself.

  • How great indeed is our debt to [Joseph Smith]... It was he who brought us a true knowledge of God the Eternal Father and His Risen Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. During the short time of his great vision he learned more concerning the nature of Deity than all of those who through centuries had argued that matter in learned councils and scholarly forums. Gordaon B. Hinkley

  • @scottwins2 ---too bad you have no evidence for Smith's claims, no gold book, no Smith language, no battle at that very important hill, not one rusty steel sword, no chariots, no elephants, no horses, no silk worms,

and so where is Smith's so called Stone Box? Still buried in that hill? So why dont you guys go dig it up?

it should be right there, noe?

  • "Mormon haters abound today." (scottwins2) Playing the anti card as usual. I suppose you are a fan of the Jehovah Witness. Their Jesus is Michael the Archangel. Knowing that Mormons don't believe and accept that, you therefore must HATE the JWS. Be consistent in your argumentation for inconsistency is the sign of a failed argument which you have. "Smith's a Loser. Smith's a loser. And he's not the man he appeared to be."

  • "Why was Joseph Smith persecuted?" (scottwins2) Perhaps Smith had a big mouth, was a lier, and believed the narcissistic garbage he spewed. "Where have you gone Judge Rutherford the Mormons turn their lonely eyes to you....woo woo woo"

  • I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet...When they can get rid of me, the devil will also go." (History of the Church, Vol. 6, p. 408, 409) And so it's true pride comes before a fall. I'm telling you so that you won't loose all.

  • "Come on! ye prosecutors! ye false swearers! All hell, boil over! Ye burning mountains, roll down your lava! for I will come out on top at last. I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it.

    Brigham Young

  • “I honor and revere the name of Joseph Smith. I delight to hear it; I love it. I love his doctrine. I feel like shouting Hallelujah, all the time, when I think that I ever knew Joseph Smith, the Prophet whom the Lord raised up. I am bold to say that, Jesus Christ excepted, no better man ever lived or does live upon this earth. I am his witness.

    Brigham Young

  • "[God] never will institute an ordinance or give a commandment to His people that is not calculated in its nature to promote that happiness which He has designed, and which will not end in the greatest amount of good and glory to those who become the recipients of His law and ordinances. " Joseph Smith Jr.

  • @scottwins2 "those who become the recipients of... the affection of lots and lots of women. They couldn't get enough of me." Journal entry of Master Mahan, Joseph Smith's alter ego.

  • @eeikman This statement is Not True.

  • @scottwins2 Scott needs to grow a sense of humor.

  • "I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • Love it. I cant believe that their are idiots in this day of age that actually still believe this crap. This is what happens to people when they live in solitude inside their own head, they start making things up to satisfied their own amusement. This of course being before TV and Radio, it was entertainment that kept the gullible wanting more. Look at David Koresh, you tell people what they want to hear and the whole town wants to wear the same hat. After all, not everyone is as unfortunate.

  • Mormon haters abound today, oh they wish for the time of the Mobs again, oh they wish for Governor Boggs to lead them to the destruction of the saints in his extermination order, oh they wish to see the burnings of Temples and homes, and the killings of innocent men as Joseph Smith and his Brother Hyram without trials. oh they wish to see the raping of mormon woman in front of there children, just like the days of old. Oh how, I wish those haters met PORTER ROCKWELL.

  • @scottwins2 ---here is a question---who destroyed 16 cities in Joseph's storybook?

  • Six main study topics which shows Joe's book to be a fabrication:

    1) DNA studies show the Native Americans to be of NE Asian descent.

2.)19 witnesses knew "Manuscript Found" its style, plot, names, was like the BoM

    3) The lack of any place person or event in connection to the storybook in So.Amer.

    4) The large number of odd and modern Anachronisms. modern inventions, list of animals, etc.

    5) Whole KJV Bible verses copied over into it.

    6)Publ. affadivits during that time.

  • @Rypaul5217 Try to tell that to a Mormon, they'll be calling you anti-christ, lier etc, lol

  • Jesus Christ is supported by evidence and fact everywhere? No. Actually there is almost no proof of Jesus. The circumstantial mentions of Jesus are 3 in number, and are not exactly definitive at ALL. In fact i believe they have all been debunked already.

  • @testskriftene

can u tell me where u got those facts from?

  • @testskriftene

can u tell me where u got those facts from?

  • crap! wow south park was true about JS.

  • Okay, I hear what your saying. I just can't understand, does this guy have a job? Is this what he does for a living?

  • @steeltalon2011 Yeah... he does this for a living.

  • @steeltalon2011 who knows , but he has a point the mormon religion is the biggest pile of shit since hitler.

  • @FallenSkorm but not since you...

  • @ImLDSRU2 shush mormon.
