  • does your dog still play like this? im having problems with a 3 yr dobe that wont play but suppose thats cos i have two together all day

  • i guessing its a american doberman because its small, i got a euro dober and it got more meat yet its only at 4month, but dober are still dober

  • this is sooo like my Dexter. he is also a chocolate male w/ out cropped ears. it gives them so much personality! Dexter loves ear rubs!

  • lovelly dog but underfed. Get a feeding plan. 26-52 weeks 16oz twice a day meat/tripe and complete buscuit (not expensive science buscuit) 52 weeks on 20-24 oz meat/tripe and buscuit. Keep them slim, not thin.(stick to the top end until you can no longer see its ribs, shoulder blades and pelvic bone.)

  • nice dobe u got there! how old is he in the vid? still looks young =)

  • i have a pit bull puppy that more vicous

  • HAHA !!!!!!!!!!!! He reminds me of my Dobie. He passed away 2 years ago and didn't know if I wanted another because I didn't want to compare the new one to him. But lately I have been thinking of getting another one.

  • adorable but he looks a lil malnourished?

  • That's not out of control.

  • Cropping ears started only after Mr. Spock first appeared on Star Trek

  • We have a Dobie and I just love him! Luda. He's smart and goofy! Great dogs :)

  • awesome

  • cute.

  • omg looks like my reccent doberman, the ears, aww she looks just like mine, mine was 11 untill she had to be put down for a Mass on the sleen and Bloat, and a dis located joint. dobermans are amazing dogs who fight til the last round

  • stupid

  • I still preferred cropped ears/docked tails, but I prefer the breed above and beyond those things, so long eared or not, GIMME DOBERMANS! Great dogs

  • I used to give our Dobe an unlimited supply of stuffed animals from the dollar store for him to shred until my vet told me she had to perform emergency surgery on another Dobe to remove an intestinal blockage... you guessed it ... stuffed animal stuffing.

  • you broke the poor dobermans toy :( lol

    beautiful dog!

  • I like them better without the ears cropped....just my humble opinion.

  • @homeostasis4me They remind me of hounds with floppy ears XD

  • Your Dobe is certainly not out of conrol but it sure is fun to see that they all act the same. Our Dobe is also that way. When the front door bell rings, thats'when our Dobe gets out of control! :-)

  • Aww he is gorgeous! My 9 year old dobi is the same - they never grow up! Check dobi video

  • Thats only a puppy.

I have a brown doberman and he is the same with the jumping down and looking up when he plays. Good vid but i wouldn't say he was out of control lol.

  • I think that it is the floppy ears that makes him look that way. If his ears had been cropped, he would of most likely had that 'Doberman look.'

    He still looks beautiful though.

  • Dobes don't have cropped ears, they should be left alone, as nature intended. all cropping is done for human vanity. even the kennel club dont recognise cropping in the UK .

  • You need glasses then it looks nothing like a greyhound ...

  • i thought my doberman was the only one doing that deep bow, and its pretty natural for them to do that, you hit furniture they go crazy

  • Out-of-control Doberman,indeed!

But not really...I had one,and this is NORMAL

    behavior for them...

  • Wow!! Such ATTITUDE...I had a DOBIE in Houston

for 10 years. I would "Poot" the dog...pet him

with a musical rhythm. DOBIES have a natural

pot belly so they're also a drum!

"FREDRICK" would grab his food bowl and take

it away with him if one tried to grab it.

This is a great video...wish you had not had

the background music so loud, I wanted to HEAR

    this dog yawn and growl...

  • What a sweet puppy! Yeah for crazy dobbies Woo!

  • why are there so many lies on the youtube makes me not like animal mlovers even more now fuck you 4 lying shithead

  • Poor amputee Froggie!An innocent victim!Lol

  • big mouth at 0:04 and he calmed down at 3:55

  • People lighten up! Enjoy it for what it is...a gorgeous loving big baby with a very loving owner. If raised properly..they will remain that way. LOVING. 1 dog at a time.

  • Looks on the underweight side.

  • Great dog! Look at mine

  • Looks like you are friends. I dont get it. I have two so they keep each other company.

Im in Corpus cristi tx and will breed mine around next fall. Cant wait to mines pups. I think they will be really awesome. Remember if its not a breed for breeding. FIX IT.

  • Dear DobermansRock,

Except in the case of proven champions, all dogs, including those that are pure-breeds, should be neutered. Thousands of pure breed dogs and mixes are put to sleep in the USA every day because there are not enough homes, yet everyone who has a dog with papers thinks it's a good idea to breed their dog....(cont.)

  • ...I volunteer with a Dobe rescue. You cannot believe how many Dobermans we get calls on needing homes. If you go to our website alone in Illinois, you will see about 50 looking for homes and we have a waiting list of about 10If you breed, each puppy you create has taken a home away from an already needy Doberman and there is a possibility your puppy as an adult will end up having to be rescued. Please reconsider breeding your dog and help the world by rescuing orphans that already exist.

  • I love you !!! <3 thank you.

  • oops! i meant to give you a thumbs up!!! I work with the doberman resuce as well and we have to turn away dogs everyday bc there is just no place to put them, not enough fosters, not enough adopters--It breaks my heart. On the bright side tho, my foster girl Sadie just went to her new home today and my new foster fur kid arrive on tue.

  • Ship them here then. We have a Dobie shortage. So much so that it took my three years to find mine.

On the same note though. A dog should go to its owner at 49 days. Otherwise you run into too many emotional problems.

My first litter is sold, and its still a long way off. I have checked the property and interviewed the prospective owners. I am sorry that Dobies even need a shelter. They are way too good for that.

  • Odd. There is a Dobe Rescue in Corpus Cristi....thanks anyway, but we are highly selective about who our dogs go to. We want them to go into their forever homes....forever. We would never just ship (and we don't ship..someone has to want our dogs bad enough to come and get them) them anywhere without first conducting vet checks, checking references, and doing home visits.

  • Yes I know its called Dobie haven. And I help the guy to place dogs all the time.

    Still many people want them.

The hard part with the rescue is most folks don't want older dogs if they have serious training plans. And thats the group that I come into play with. Serious breeding for serious owners. Nothing less, and if possible always more. Thanks for your concern.

Also I now own 3. My 3rd was a rescue.

  • If you breed, plz make sure that Von Willibrands and especially Dilated Cardiomyopathy is not in your breed line. DCM kills so many dobes..it is a horrible way to die. Responsible breeding is so necessary. Thanks!

  • cut the ears! the dog will look much better in my oppinion... great dog tho.

  • You can't crop a dobies ears when they're this big, they'd never stand. Ear cropping is a controversial subject and it is banned in many countries, possibly where this dobie comes from.

  • Thanks for the response so quickly, is he average weight and size for his age, and whats his name?

    LOL

  • Cute Dobie, im getting one in Feb, i cant wait, how old is he by the way?

And Did you get him from a breeder?

    ( P.S. i am from Australia!)

Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!

    Chow!

  • he is about a year old. i got him from a breeder in minnesota. dobes are great dogs, you wont be disapointed!!

  • @Ingiequeen . don;t get animals from breeders! please oh please. or pet shop. if you want a pup go down to RSPCA and see if they have pup Dobes or AWL. or if you want an adult dog go RSPCA aswell

  • @RPSHammond

I only get my dogs either from shelters, or reputable, registered pedigree breeders.

  • lol thats funny. thats a real pretty dog.

  • Great! Really funny!
