And there are things that get pretty dirty inside of S-E many of the staff hates Wada. If I was a developer/producer/director I would be pissed if I was forced to make a multiplatform game. It's so much more fun to make a game exclusive. You have more abilities.

If the SO team started to work on SO4 after SO3 and struggled with the DVD capacity mark my words that SO5 will be on PS3. Actually, they gave SO4 to the developer team TOSE who remade the first two SO games for PSP. Back in march of this year the original team behind SO4 was dismissed. SO4 wasn't meant to be timed exclusive but MS payed Enix so they can rush it out before Sony's PS3 version.

360 does not have the same graphics potential that a ps3 does, nor does it even possess a decent medium to deliver them. Just a rumor, but I heard that developers were having a little bit of trouble getting UT3 to even fit on an hd dvd. In the future, Blu-ray ps3 games will look much better, even if only because of the extra space. I'm looking forward to FF 13 regardless of the platform.

the way i look at it is, the 360 is only good for shooters and sports(which i dont obsess over). but the ps3 has diversity and a great selection of games that are pretty unique and my collection has about 15 games in(most exclusive). from heavenly sword to resistance (even thought its a shooter it is fun) to lair to wipeout hd to sonic the hedgehog, motorstorm, folklore, and ratchet and clank. i just cant get that kind of diversity on the 360 unless the games have bad stories
really think about it. developers have been using the 360's full potential for quite some time now so not much more will happen with it. once cell coding becomes more understood and standard(i guess 2 years or so) the 360 will really only be holding this generation back. i went to a gaming dev school and all my teachers considered the 360 to be a half way console and not really next gen. i would expect to see microsoft push a new system in about 3 years that can actually run cell code

PS3 has only a small handful of good exclusive games, MGS4 was very overrated (still love 1 and 2).
Losing Final Fantasy is not a big issue, after the last one I just lost interest. It's not the same without Sakaguchi-san as Director.

so far developers have said that uncharted drakes fortune(which i have and owns all 360 action games) only uses about 35% of the ps3 full potential. 35%!!!!! thats almost like starting out with FFVI on the PS1 and ending the system with FFVIII. square enix has said that FFVersusXIII will be more revolutionary than the jump from FFVI on SNES to FFVII on PS1. and im guessing it will only use about 60% or maybe a bit more of the systems full potential. ridiculous. imagine 3 years from now

of having to sell my customers overpriced and underproduced shit. if they want a blue ray player, im all for the ps3, but that is the only thing i support on it.
one last thing, and i don't mean this to be racist, but a large number of my ps3 customers are primarily black. i'm not sure why this is, but about a good 80% of them are. and the others i try to dissuade from buyin a ps3 give me the usual "i've always been sony" bullshit excuse. sony is dying, and its just a matter of time now.

3. sony's exclusives are hardly worth raving over. when you consider the few titles they push, and how long their titles remain in development, any customer would have a much more enjoyable experience with a 360 or wii, at the cost of one single ps3 console. GOW3 will not be out until probably the middle of 09, killzone, fuck who knows (and i dont remember many asking for a KZ2..) and fuck whatever else they have. at this rate, sony will become the next sega. thank god, because im tired

2. square enix is genuis for pulling this move because in a business sense, producing solely for the ps3 would ultimately lose them money. the amount of time and money thats been spent on this game in production could never break even with an exclusive ps3 launch. and blacky, you saying shit about MGS4? when asked in an interview whether or not kojima would make a 360 version, he did not comment. funny, because he did make xbox versions of metals gears. because american games dont fit in with their category of 'creativity'. only game sony bought or was offered was bioshock. think about it, sony's built blu ray DVD player and free online, i dont think they have enough money to buy microsoft's exclusives! like i said, the PS3 is done. only use of buying it are the variations of entertainment it holds and number of exclusives, while the xbox 360 is mostly a gaming console with a shelf of countless games and several exclusives.

This announcement literally had me jumping around my living room (kind of ashamed to admit it, but hey... im a nerd).
Loved the MS conference this year (minus a majority of that casual stuff).
I actually do like the new options for the dash though, and although the Avatars aren't original at all... I like them just liked I liked the Miis >_>
