I personally like this movie and these scenes! And her sword fighting isn't weak or pathetic. She is trained in Kalarippayattu (type of martial art) and that is what the style looks like. Its about using the opponent's weight and strength against them. And how can anyone tell if those swords are too heavy? She's been training with them since birth practically!

And at the time when this movie is supposedly set, the fall of the Western Roman Empire, Gauls were pretty much existing only in name, and the Huns had already left their mark. The story is technically King Arthur right, in Britain? Then these would be the first of the Saxon invaders. Of course, I haven't seen this movie and have no idea of the setting of this particular scene, but hey, always open to correction.
