Wow. I've gotta wonder if this new, raw Lady Gaga was a marketing plot. Make a huge impact with her bizarre costumes and raunchy, but catchy, music--then get even more publicity actually showcasing her talent in a more obvious, raw way.
Don't get me wrong, this is impressive! I do also think it was brilliant marketing. She's certainly gotten the world's attention. For a number of reasons.
Although it'd be nice if her lyrics were actually something I'd want my kids to listen to someday.
