These ads were so fraudulent and dishonest that a new word has entered the lexicon: Swiftboated. It means lied about, misrepresented, twisted, unfair and dishonest. None of these people had any idea who the hell Kerry is. They didn't know him then and they don't know him now. The guy Kerry pulled out of the water under fire remembers Kerry and says "yes he did, and yes we were under fire." Right wing kooks will always believe whatever they want, regardless of facts.
