Its not supposed to sound nasty..lol.. the Most properway i know in order to growl on your saxophone.. is not to rasp.. its more to "hum" while playing. Not hard to do infact..

it sounds "dirty" cuz your crap. growl on high notes, thats how you get a screaming effect. the problem is, he doesnt show you how, and i only have another 350 characters left here.. haha also there is no difference between rollign and fluttering your tounge, im not even sure what "rolling" would mean while playing.
