what you people dont realize is that neither of these products have sugar in them ..even the regular coke...it contains high_fructos corn syrup which is worse for you than natural sugar (has to do with the way the body absorbs fructose and sucrose) the diet is aspartame which is a chemical made from Aspartic Acid (40 percent of Aspartame) Phenylalanine (50 percent of aspartame) Methanol (aka wood alcohol/poison) (10 percent of aspartame)

The brain barrier only allows certain proportions of amino acids to pass through. The aspartame similarity to the amino acid lets it pass the barrier as an amino acid, but when the brain tries to build a protein it finds itself short one amino acid. The brain gets starved of protein even with small amounts of aspartame.
