this is a serious question n most will laugh but seriously how do u get play without hitting other notes when u speed up ive never tried playin piano and have really considered learning but i have a hard enough typing with my big a&& fingers without hittin other keys at the same time with both hands at that i dont think i could make my hands play different notes .. is there hope for a noob such as myself when it comes to practice will help me improve i guess?

@SilentKnightII well. usually pianos have pretty wide keys with semi wide black keys. (trust me i know this stuff cause my brother has big fingers and hands.) so first off stay with and actual piano because usually a keyboards keys are smaller in width. playing different notes shouldn't be a problem and when going fast remember to strike the key and lift off quickly because the sound should be loud and quick anyways. when striking the keys this way, your fingers will lift off and you wont have

@SilentKnightII a problem of bumping into other keys :) hope i helped. but if you've never played and you want to, take a lesson or too just so you learn to read music and learn where the notes are on the piano grid. :D best advice i can give.

There really aren't any shortcuts, you'll have to take the time to learn... but don't give up, I hope to hear you play this someday :D

@SouljaStickMan I'd have to agree with josh. however. pick out some stuff you like. There's a number of geek interest songs that aren't nearly as complex. Work your way up :) it's best if you have some you can be proud that you can play, and others you're working your way to.

@SouljaStickMan when you learn how to use sixteenth notes well, you'll probably be able to take a good shot at it. I'm out of practice, so I'm struggling with getting the speed down on the left hand, you see how crazy it is on his video? he makes cutting a rock look like cutting butter basically right? xD Keep it as a goal and you'll get it. and if anything, you could try to write a more simplified version of the song once you understand scales, that's what I use to do, also takes practice.

Jo Josh, i got the same D-Piano as a present and i wonder which sound/voice u choose.

I always turn up the volumn on max (maybe my ears are damaged ^^) and if i choose 001-003 it always sounds so rough to my ears.

What's ur combination? Or maybe i play not well enough? =(

Full volume?? That's pretty loud, be careful with your ears :o

I mostly use 001 and 002... the camera audio isn't too good though, so I record my performance as MIDI and convert it to MP3 later.
