Breen isnt the G-man's boss. Unless you mean that Breen is Gordon's Boss- in which case you are sort of right. Breen was the administrator of Black Mesa, or at least, administrator of Gordon's department. And so Gordon was sort of 'hired' by G-man but he now owns Gordon and works for some other entity that we have yet to discover.

if gordan was gman and he reversed time, why didn't he just go back to black mesa and stop the experiment? also, if gman is gordan, why would gman put gordan in a room full of xen creatures in hl1 if you refuse the deal? Gordan would no doubt die and create a time paradox (gordan dies which means gman dies which means gman never went back in time to cause the death of gordon and so gordan never died so gordan lived and so on...)
