mrsfa92 i never said the tune was in G, i said the whistle was in G. I know the tune is in C if you play G fingering on a G whistle. Anyway thanks for the lesson!
Thank you for this video and your beautiful playing. I'm learning this song on my psaltery and needed to hear the inflections - this helps tremendously!

Can Someone Listen To My EVP Video Theres Some Kind Of Flute Being Played Near The End Of It For About A Minute And I Need To Know What Song It Is. Keep In Mind Its A Ghost Playing It! It Sounds Like Either A Flute Or A Harmonica!
Nice ornamentation throughtout. Nice air when its played right, which is the way you've just played it. You've got a great collection of whistles, well done.
No probs, its called "The Green Fields of France" lots of versions on youtube. Possibly ythe most famous is The Fureys & Davey Arthur version. Hope this helps?
Well horse, that was brilliant. Cant bate the old trad. ceol. You wouldn't happen to know a tune "Lady Gregory" which is also a slow air. Cant seem to find a recording anywhere

Sounds so beautiful, especially on a low whistle. Nice playing! This is one of the few tunes in my newbie repertoire, and you give me great ideas...
