  • Where do you find the whole version of this? I've only found a few scenes and I want to see the whole adaptation.

  • Just watched this for the first time. Brilliant! As Raiders is my fave film ever this is something I so wish I'd been able to do as a kid. Kudos to the then kids who managed this feat. It's packed fulll of ingenuity, charm and danger and you can't help but get swept up in the story. They obviously had no fear as It looked so dangerous to do - especially the fire gags and the truck chase. Bravo!

  • dam im worried to put my version of the raiders of the lost ark beginning scene on youtube

  • How did they do the melting head at the end? Did they do it the same way?

  • I prefer the one with Harrison Ford in it.

  • Anyone know where/how one can watch this?

  • SCREENING ANNOUNCED!!

Alabama premier of Raiders: The Adaptation Sept. 18-19 at Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center in Huntsville, AL.

  • brilliant

  • Being shown in the UK for the first time - I love this inspring story :0)

  • Eric Zala was my old boss when I worked at EA Sports in Maitland, FL. He's not there anymore, I think he moved on to the film industry thanks to this remake.

  • Will someone please release this on DVD?! It would sell like crazy, I'm sure. I know I would buy it!

  • Wow nice but could be

  • does anybody know which part of the movie they did the face melt effect because I know they have all the parts of this movie on youtube.

  • Let's see maybe because 3 12 year olds managed to do what's even hard for some adults to do.

  • @TVwriter23 Three 12 year-olds did what Lucas and Spielberg couldn't do in Indian 4!

  • I'd love to see a making of for the remake to see how a bunch of 11 year old boys made such good set peices and stuff

  • Sweded! :D

  • House of Dang and And/Or Gallery in Dallas is RAD for showing this. Can't for their next blockbuster summer viewing.

  • This movie bumped me down to 3rd on the "Greatest Things to Ever Come Out of Ocean Springs, MS" list.

  • I watched the movie twice now. It's, hands down, the best fanmade-movie erver made! Although I was sad when I saw that the scene with the Big Nazi and the plane wasn't in it, the awesome truck-scene more then made up for that:]

  • I really want to wach this movie but i can't figure out where to find the whole thing. i understand that its shot by shot but i'm only able to find three seperate scenes. PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

  • ok i see that yhou have to download it. I'm not a big computer genius so is there anyway i can not download it?

  • What's the one scene that is missing?

  • The airplane fight scene.

  • i dare say its as much as a masterpiece as the original, truly inspirational.

  • I didn't know Dr Phil was a film critic.

  • haha nice one dude

  • @BinboyProductions hahaha

  • Looks great.Shame you can't remake more films without getting your ass sued.

  • Looks great.Shame you can't remake more films without getting your ass sued.

  • I just watched it.

    Truly amazing.

Thanks to Speilberg for not suing. Because, he has to understand that these kids were really passionate and they didn't make it for profit. Pure summer enjoyment, so that from years to come they can crack it out and be proud.

  • Sono shoccato, sti ragazzi nel 81 hanno fatto sta roba. Dei pazzi. Complimenti a loro

  • Just watched the movie, it's incredible. It gets better and better as it goes on...to the point where you're sitting there watching saying HOW DID THEY GET A SUBMARINE!?

  • I've read about this a few years ago and I would love to see the movie. Something about it seems magical. I'm glad Speilberg is a fan and isn't suing... that would destroy the innocence surrounding what inspired these boys to make this movie in the first place. What they didnt say here is that this movie took them years to make and shot the scenes over summers, so the characters got older as the movie unfolded. That would be interesting to see. I would love a DVD copy

  • you try to do a film as kid you ignorant goof, THEN talk it not being a big deal. it was nicely donely for a budget of basically JACK SQUAT

  • damn typos...but you get my idea. watch this - (plug this in after the youtube url) watch?v=ccc0a9I2cM0 think you'll get the idea of WHY it's a BIG DEAL and what doors this opened up for them as film makers

  • Because it's kids. They did it shot for shot. No money (well about $850 bucks over the course of several summers). No FX company. Just three innocent, passionate kids acting out their dreams in a documented labor of love. You're right...it's not a big deal.

  • are they selling a dvd of this?

  • I certainly fuckin hope so

  • Wow, thats kool Josh. It was great to see the film and to have Longevity there at the show too. I hope one day I will have another film at BUFF (Brooklyn Underground Film Festival) soon!! Great vibe there.!! Troy

  • Incredible! What an idea!

  • I would sell my car and jump off a bridge for a copy of this adaptation . . . "Raiders" is my all-time favorite film. I paid to see it at least twice every weekend for the year it played at my hometown's movie house, and NEVER got tired of it. I estimate I've paid to see this movie more than 250 times over the years . . .

  • If you don't have it yet, check Demonoid. ;-)

  • Demonoid is over...

    Try it at mininova.

  • I've been wanting a copy of this for so long, the remake that is, but it's so rare.

  • check emule
