On their own just grilled, not too great. But cut into cubes and combined with veggies and other goodies to make skewers. Or battered. In essence any big fish is less flavourful, much like lamb and mutton. So you have to combine them with other things. Small ones are better eating though.
Caranx ignoblis, Giant Trevally. In SA we call it a Ignoblis or Ig. They can be easy to shoot in caves, but not in open water. And then once shot, not easy to land. Generally gamefish are easier to shoot due to their aggressive nature. But again inopen water they can be very sneaky.
Hehehe, yup I'm that good. Jokes. Shot in the middle, it reefed me in a cave. Took a second gun and shot it through the head. With all the sharks in that particular area decided to get the fish out as quick as possible and had to then unclip the spears. All this happening at 26m didn't leave me with too much time to worry about unravelling the guns then the fish etc.

try it grilled kabobs and brush it with soy, ginger olive oil, lemon & garlic sauce. I promise you you will come back for seconds .

admire ur catch but it looks to me those kind of fish are easy catch, i see them everywhere and they have bad meat (if its the fish i believe it is)
