Ive been longboarding for about a year now, and no matter what wheels i buy, or how big of a slide o throw, I just cant seem to leave thane lines. Can anyone help?

@SwaggCitySkates why would you want to leave thane lines? thane lines mean that your wheel is being rubbed off heaps, thane lines are bad. if a wheel doesn't leave thane stains it means they are really good.

@199longboard neither. i have ridden the 83a stims. and the 81a flashbacks and i love bothe of them. but the abec11 perform better for me personally. the only way to decide is to ride them. theres no "one size fits all wheel" BUT if i were to tell you, i would try out the flashbacks FIRST. then the otangs. i have found teh flashbacks to be better for holding out slides. and freeride. Go skate lml

@amackdadon The Apex 37 would be a good size, and you would be fine with the middleweight flex. If you are looking to freeride then you would want to go with the Freeride 41" with rocker concave since you'll have a wider stance.

hey original, im getting the Freeride 38 (W CONCAVE). do the original S8 trucks come with white springs or do i need to order them seperately

@theesteelersfan86 just my opinion though, dont get the freeride with original trucks. its not an option on their website for a reason lol, get some randals or paris or something because the freeride isn't meant for freestyle. I know that white springs are meant for freeriding, but you will have to do maintenance on them every now and then. and also if you're getting w concave, get some bombing trucks. bombing on originals is something that should never be done.

i think it's funny how this year i noticed kids put up sponsor me videos for longboarding, and it just makes me think that kids shouldn't be doing the same thing as with skateboarding when kids wanna be the best and get sponsored. for me personally longboarding is just about having fun, expressing yourself, and spreading the word. pushing people to push themselves on a board of there own.

Its not about having the most technical slides and mathy tricks, its just about enjoying them man.

@STEALTH8484 lol pile of dump that they aren't using os trucks? the freeride isnt a freestyle board its a FREERIDING board, they are using dh trucks. original trucks are designed for awesome freestyling at lower speeds. paris, bear, randals etc are designed for dh freeriding. on the freeride buying page it isn't even an option to get os trucks on them because the board isn't made for that style of skating. have an open mind, they dont HAVE to have os trucks just because they skate for original.
