it's amusing how everyone fights over who the strongest is haha julius didn't even have a game of his own so i don't think he should count :p it would come down to simon and richter who are both major bad asses and the 2 strongest Belmonts :D they should've placed aria of sorrow and dawn of sorrow further in the future killing dracula and taking the main character spot light away from the belmonts and alucard blows, they'll probably come out later and make it an alternate universe scenario

Ya know I'm sick of this "Julius killed Dracula for good...so he must be the strongest belmont right?" Wrong. Julius just killed dracula like all the other belmonts did. In truth, the reason Dracula didn't come back, was because of Alucard, The Church, and other allies that sealed his power away. Julius just pwned him again like any regular belmont would, but julius didn't seal him away, his allies did.

in symphony of the night richter belmont has many techniques, such as sliding along the ground, long jumps, etc.. is the most powerful after julius belmont, richter always be my best of all, his appearances are excellent and their roles in the story are very good.

How IS Julius the strongest? He can't do those special moves (Richter's shoulder charge) can't do any item crashes, and he whips the SLOWEST of ANY game. Even in the very first Castlevania for NES Simon whipped faster.

According to word of god, Righter was the strongest, then in Aria/Dawn of sorrow, Julius became strongest one.

His boss form is pretty sick- and that was him HOLDING BACK. by the time you play him in Dawn, he is already weakened from breaking the seal in the condemned tower for Soma and Arikado.

Also, keep in mind by Aria, he is already middle aged, and past his prime. in '99 he is the belmont who finally killed Dracula for good. Back when he was young, he must have been much stronger.

Most powerfull is Nathan Graves from CoTM cause he can 1-2shot anything and 2nd is Maxim from HoD cause of totally imbalanced traveling and attacks. Also somewhere in top 3 is Maria from SoTN. This is just my opinion :).
