I use to ride a 650gs which is the same bike almost. I loved that bike but I think I'll invest in a cs this time around as I expect to mostly be in the city

I borrowed 650 CS from my friend on few days. Bike is looking maybe strange but it fits perfect! I drove many bikes, this is very easy do drive, "eats" curves, has great engine. After longer drive, 1 cylinder engine will make your ass numb, so it will be good to take a break after 1 hour of driving. Sound on stock exhaust is really quiet and it does not live a serious impression. But the lovely engine changes it. Great bike for non-experienced drivers and others too.

Of course I have seen "something like it"!All m/cs look like IT-two wheels,swing arm,forks etc und nicht zu vergessen.sogar auf diesem BMW bist Du die Knautschzone!Is this bloke on valium?As convincing as a dead parrot.Natuerlich besitzt dieser Bike BMW Qualitaet aber ich wuerde nie sowas fahren.BMW kann mich mal!

Beautiful bike. If you want to be like everyone else on the planet, don't buy it. This is for those who dare to put quality and design ahead of social pressure to look like all the other sheep on the road. Regarding the ad...The man in the ad is the head of engineering.... there is a reason he is in engineering and not in advertising. He should stay with his core competency and leave the advertising to spokes models.

The bike might be okay, but this is the most discomforting ad I've ever seen. Almost every single word and gesture is illogical and misplaced. This spokesperson is even more horrible than the eHarmony guy.

Haha when I read your response I burst into laughter...I don't know? I've done 10.000kilometres on this bike and lost a few sport bikes in narrow corners and you're tellin me that it's heavy? By the way this bike is one of the most biker-friendly of the "unsporty"...and it can be fast - believe me or not..it's not mine by many other reviewers opinion...What I can admitt is that I doesn't take corneres like a 125cc, that for sure;)

I own a F 650 CS... of course it´s not so sporty like a japanese or italian sports bike, cause its a beginner bike, but believe me, it can be very fast. Before i got my BMW, i´ve had a Honda CBF 600 S with 78 hp. Weight: 224 kg. Another one: Weight of a "sporty" bike like a Suzuki Bandit 650 (with full tank)): 247 kg!!! And then the BMW F650 CS: ~ 190 kg with fuel. Think about it, man.

1. ich besaß nie solch ein "hobel" die von dir genannten...

2. auch meine CBR600RR ist eine anfänger maschine, wenn man denn in diese sportliche fortbewegungs richtung gehen will.

da diese BMW hier einen sehr hochen schwerpunkt hat, ist das hänling massiv schlechter als bei meiner sportler, die sich einfach so in die kurven schmeißen lässt.

also warum drüber nachdenken, wenn ich was besseres gekauft habe!

Du kannst die F650 CS (auch wenn sie ein wenig so aussieht) nicht mit einer Sportmaschine vergleichen, dafür ist sie nicht gedacht (welche BMW ist das schon? ^^). Aber das Bike hat einen enorm TIEFEN Schwerpunkt, da der Tank unter dem Sitz ist. Aber trotz aller Vorteile der BMW werd ich in der Saison 2010 wieder zu einem Reiskocher oder einer Speed/Street Triple wechseln.

Jeder Typ faehrt sich anders.. ich hatte frueher mal ne Custom, dann eine cbs, jede hatte ihren eigenen Stil... also von Sportbike auf die CS ist ganz klar, das ist eine andere Welt. Stell dir vor du wuerdest es mit einer V-Strom versuchen.. Und noch mal, Geschmack ist bei jedem anders...und jeder sucht etwas anderes.

Absolutely Ace bike. I have the same colour scheme as in the video, except I have the gold panel with the badge on. A hoot to ride, so useful with the luggage too. But boy, did it NOT sell.... Too radical for the BMW buying public, I think..
