An unborn child IS an actual person. Abortion is not the solution to a society where people don't take care of their children and/or abuse them sexually. You are pointing to a symptom of another problem. The problem of lack of education and the fact that this country simply has a lot of people who get passed through the eduction system and drag society down as a whole. Actual people are physiologically independent of others, I'm afraid. If there was some surplus of adoptive parents, there wouldn't be thousands upon thousands in state care, would there? Not that it would matter: it isn't pregnant women's job to pop out babies on command for the childless.

By the way, the only difference between our premature baby at 26 weeks gestation and one who is selectively terminated so a person may live as she wishes is that our baby is wanted and not seen as a burden or something we can simply discard as a matter of convenience. I am very pro life, and I feel terribly for this girl. She was probably very scared! A TRUE pro lifer would care about the lives of these girls, also. Abortion has hurt some of my friends, both physically and emotionally.

This is sad, that this happens. there were 2 lives lost.
