  • hurts don't it

  • android>ios

  • R.I.P Mobile Flash

  • @thedudewithbeef yes sales do speak for themselves. But you also have to keep in mind that while Samsung makes releases a phone every other month Apple releases one once a year. So yea Apple's competition outsells the iPhone. But when you have to make so many different phones in order to stay ahead from a company that only makes one phone and that company still is a threat to you then that doesn't really say much does it?

  • Could u tell me what camera u are using to record this video ?

  • pretty cool voice :D

  • now im going to see that stupid error saying "please install flash"!!!

  • Wonder if IE will jump on the html5 bandwagon....

  • pause at 1:53 for a funny face lol looks like he's drunk or high XD

  • "Axe Android from mobile devices"? @ 2:17

I think you meant to say "axe Flash from mobile devices." No?

  • You seem like the nicest person in the world.

  • why not support both html 5 and flash

  • NOOOOOO!!!!!!!WHY FLASH WAS SOOO COOL ON THE ANDROID DEVICES AND NOW ITS GONE WHY NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GameKingdon93 because flash sux for mobile. Apple has said this years ago. RIP flash, long live HTML5

  • @rhadiem whats HTML5

  • @GameKingdon93 It's a watered down programming language that is less powerful than Flash. It's total crap. Look up Flash CS5 it is bad ass, and next look up Adobe Edge it has almost not tool , and suck bad , but it's powered by HTML5 that is open, and free. Flash CS5.5 kicks Adobe Edge's butt, Apple fun boys that know nothing about programming lie about Flash ALL THE TIME .

  • @maw88ify Apple fanboys? Trololol. Great rant, I like the bit where you didn't mention Javascript. :)

  • @Speedogg138 Are you talking about the fact that Flash first version of ActionScript with influences from JavaScript and the ECMA-262 (Third Edition) standard ? and to quote Steve Jobs "Rather than use Flash, Apple has adopted HTML5, CSS and JavaScript – all open standards. " "If developers need to rewrite their Flash websites, why not use modern technologies like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript?" But Flash is basically coding is JavaScript .

  • @maw88ify What I am referring to is your nonsense about Apple "fanboys" that know nothing about programming. And then you turn around and say "HTML 5 won't be as good because of no flash", but completely neglect to mention that it WILL have JavaScript, a suitable alternative that is much more user friendly.

  • @Speedogg138 From a programmers , and animator / game programmers perspective Flash CS 5.5 is much more user friendly than JavaScript , because Flash has tons of built in tools in a UI that JavaScript doesn't . Also as I said Flash Actionscript is based on Javascript . So what are you talking about ? I remember when the web was covered in lame javascript animation , and pop-ups it was horrible. Flash does a better job and has better tools built in to a UI .

  • i wonder if they are going to incorporate html 5 in the browsers for android. i've never been a huge fan of flash, granted on a crappy pc you can run it to a varied degree but i feel it is a resource hog for a what is primarily used for videos and light games. i say good riddance but an unclear future makes me wonder about the idea of buying a tablet now. i was toying with the notion but that really did not help with a sell lol.

  • Soldier! Real informative stuff dude...yeah they taken flash back to it's original purpose, 2D animation for tv....they went a good ten years under the flash coding....but I'm seeing now google is using online platforms to push everybody out of the way including Facebook ....oh yeah and like TheHarleyDiva....what kind of camera that is?

  • 2:42

OMG, Soldier, I have never laughed harder IN MY LIFE!!! I had my Bose in-ear headphones in while I watched this vid on my iPhone, and once you jumbled your words, it was instant laughing my ass off!!! Whew..... Yeah, I'm lame lol

  • Hey there! What camera do you use? Very clear/sharp.

  • omg yr head like a dick

  • How come I'm watching this on an iPad then?

  • Apples are better for you anyway

  • Apple always no.1

  • Apple is always ahead of the curve!

  • No top comment Ummmm

    Potato?

  • @NotaBrony You're not getting the top comment you unoriginal cunt.

  • @Faulkner18FTW (sigh) I know

  • @NotaBrony Again, unoriginal.

  • I think it's cool that Apple always was right. More and more phones started to get flash, but Apple never wanted it, not even in the iPad, and now it shows that Apple was right all the time.

  • aside of the apple fanboy and steve jobs hater endless game , there is one thing for sure here anyone who bet on FLASH on droid has lost now learn how to live with it unless you believe you can do better than adobe , for my personal case it still can get better , finally to the people who enjoy talking shyet about steve , remember he's dead now do you really believe that your words matter to his reputation rather than yourself????

  • Bull shit

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • keeping ur arm like that for 3 min didnt u get tired

  • Dude your your stupid

  • Not sure how Android lost. They have supported Flash for this time, plus HTML5, so any Android user could browse any site they wanted. Now there will be no further versions of Flash coming out, so Android users can still browse Flash websites until there is a full web change to HTML5, which may or may not occur. Not sure how that is losing, secondly, Android used this among many other things to make them the number one selling smart phone platform and Samsung became #1 manufacturer.

  • @davebrownisgod you tell em boy!!!!

  • Not sure how Android lost. They have supported Flash for this time, plus HTML5, so any Android user could browse any site they wanted. • Dear android, shut the fuck up now.

    You lost, okay?

    Now go away.

    Thanks.

  • @TheMuaz28 how did we lose we supported flash for years along with many other moble os platforms.. apple NEVER did leaving you in the dust by far.. we also supported html5 from the get go but haven't made the full switch apple is just now getting to it along with many other things android has had for YEARS.. oh, & have fun with your closed source iphone not being able to do whatever the eff you wan't to with it except for the crap that apple has allowed without jailbreaking.

  • @TheMuaz28 u realize that android supports html5 AND flash right? loser :P

  • @thedudewithbeef Im sorry , but from now, flash only supports your old devices. Apple was smart enough to not go with flash anyways.

  • @TheMuaz28 lol..HOW was apple not smart? flash was widely used back then...and if they cared about their customers....they wud have included it..they wrnt loosing anything...android didnt when they included it...THIS is why samsung and android surpassed sales...apple acts like a bratty little bitch.and they lost...BIG time...the sales speak for themselves... :P

  • @thedudewithbeef Note, flash didn;t work that great / flawless on Android .Samsung is pretty good, But Apple knew that flash was going down. So they didn't include it just in case if flash is dead, the customers wouldn't be let down. So you lost, BIG TIME. Cause you no longer have flash.

  • my flash player was working and it's workinng perfectly on my nexus s....

  • I don't often find sites that don't work on my iPhone, but I am excited for more sites to get cooler with html5.

  • i don't think ios people would see it as a victory if android people didn't use the lack of flash issue as a problem.

android used it first, apple just held it's ground and won the battle.

  • Jay Saurik is probably the only intelligent iPhone user on the planet...the rest are just sheep...like every famous youtuber

  • Apple says HTML5 is the future. Google is been making it so, as far as 2008 (Google I/O 2008 - HTML 5). Many companies have been saying this for years, but to hear people say Apple saw the future is just not entirely true. It's more like a company helping DEVELOPE HTML5 while embarrassing the current technology versus just saying this is not the future and depriving people from a Web standard.

  • They had like two whole years and a whole bunch of Android device to support them. Yet they failed miserably. Even now flash on Android is still unstable. Turn out Steve was right after all, flash is just too hardware consuming for a mobile device. Or maybe it's just because Adobe is a bunch of incompetent monkey.

  • well that sucks

  • Actually, Adobe just issued a statement... They will continue to update Flash.

Even so, if Flash really WERE dead, it'd still be on the Market. So us Android users still have a huge advantage and will continue to be able to view 90% of the web.

You guys know, it's going to take a LONG time to switch over to HTML5. It's gone nowhere since last year.

  • Awesomeness :D

  • @TalesOfWar HTC had a custom version of flash on their phones before the official version came out.

  • DO A BARREL ROLL! ahah that was awesome : P

  • @Tsistan most android devices have a trackball or dpad, and Opera mobile gives you a mouse cursor when you use them.

  • @ZaydTalks sorry, but Apple has nothing to do with any of these products dying. The floppy was killed by bootable thumb drives and that same tech, solid state memory, will kill optical and spindle drives. It's called progress. Apple is generally 1 or 2 generations behind the tech with most of their products even though their prices don't reflect it.

  • Well, good thing I already have flash on my phone.

  • you can always download flash apk to your phone and install it

  • Comment removed

  • If flash was inferior to html5, then why does the html5 player for Youtube suck?

  • Html5 is going to be dead in 25 years... There's no use having a device that can use it now...

  • @OutreAnima 25 years is a long time lol

  • @IID0UGII For the few years since Apple said flash was useless it's been beneficial. It's sad that just now as smartphones reach the ability to use it well, it's going away. I'd like it to stay an option and fade with a natural transition, but oh well...

  • the only reason why people were buying the playbook is because it had flash. I guess playbook sales are dropping even more now.

  • In your faces, Androids :P

  • Android is fucking shit. Apple all the way 

  • Apple bitch

  • im switching to iPhone at christmas so this wont affect me att all

  • I dont care i dont have an android anymore

  • I dont seem to understand why apple users think this is a ''win''. HTML 5 is supported on android devices as well and until apple users have the freedom to look at websites as they were intended to with flash content and stream videos, play games etc like android users then the lack of flash is still crippling to apple devices.

  • is that Bates Motel?!?!

  • android has also supported html 5 I dont know what you ifail users are ranting about. Android just always had the OPTION to run flash(key point being you didnt have to run flash if you didnt want to)

android users never denied that html 5 was the next thing but they also realised you couldn't just stop supporting flash. Android has always been about the option. Now html 5 is more widely used they feel it is now safe to fade our flash without affecting user experience.

  • Finally HTML5 after so many years.

  • Flash was never about running mobile pages, it was about running desktop pages. How will i watch anime and series online when there arent really any sites that does it without flash.

Would still choose android over IOS though. Price to performance is still better in most cases, the os is still much better with better multitasking, customization and most of the features that comes to ios has already been on android for a substantial amount of time.

  • Steve Jobs was right! R.I.P Steve, you told them flash would die and HTML 5 was the future

  • Apple wins, flawless victory

  • I don't get why Apple users think they won or something because flash is discontinued. You do realize that Android users got to use flash when HTML5 was still new and now that HTML5 has matured we are switching over. Its not like now that Flash is discontinued we cant browse anymore or something.

  • @xGaaryx If Apple didn't make the move there would probably be a lot less websites with HTML5 instead of flash

  • @xGaaryx Apple users never cared about who can browse or not. They, like Steve Jobs believed HTML5 was simply better and more efficient, and now that Flash has discontinued their point is proved.

  • @xGaaryx It's just that Android has lost a leverage against Apple, and Apple had proved its point right. That's all.

  • @xGaaryx i think apple users think they won because android users kept saying oh! oh! but we have flash! buy our phones! we have flash! but now they dont have flash.. and apple was right the whole time.

  • @xGaaryx

    bad loser

  • @angelusp777

Yep im a bad loser cause Android users got to CHOOSE between Flash and HTML5 and Apple ONLY got to use HTML5. Obviously being restricted to one option is better than being able to switch between the two. I don't know about you but I very much like the ability to use Flash when I want. The point of Flash was not to use it to view sites that were compatible with HTML5 but to view sites that only allow Flash.

  • @xGaaryx

Apple users wouldn't give a rat's ass about what happens. It's the fanboys you should be worried about.

  • @xGaaryx B.S. Flash on Android worked well only about 30% of the time. Then suddenly, a year after Steve Jobs shot down Adobe for giving him hell for not supporting their crap tech, HTML5 is suddenly mature enough to use? You're switching over? You have no choice but to "switch over." You make it sound like it's something you planned.

  • DIE! Flash DIE!

  • Xda TV said it better at "Adobe Flash Mobile Takes a Bow"

  • Comment removed

  • thumbs up if u think this was filmed with an iphone 4s :)

  • @italkalltechyou can see the camera hes using in the mirror. But ill thumbs up anyways haha

  • @italkalltech you can see the camera he is using in the mirror lol

  • @italkalltech nope, urine idiot

  • ...=/

  • The current Flash support that Android has isn't just going to disappear.. Android will still have stable flash video content etc.. It's not like they are wiping every version of flash off the face of the earth; Android users are still going to have a more "full" internet experience.

  • adobe didn't admit anything. it just wasn't viable to continue supporting it when apple took so many customers from adobe

  • YES! So I finally get to watch porn on every website without paying, oh, umm, I mean soldierknowsbest without jailbreaking.

  • I actually play a lot of Flash content on my Google TV, which is powered by Android. Really sad to see it go, especially since HTML5 isn't even finished yet and so a lot of Flash features will not be possible on mobile for a long time.

  • Wtf???

  • HA I KNEW THAT 21TB NAS THAT NCIX BUILT A FEW MONTHS AGO WAS A GENIUS IDEA!!!

  • Steve could see the future

  • not happen for a couple of years tho --- Sent From SoldierKnowsBest's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • stop moving fool

  • Will You be able to get HTML5 on current android phones i.e. galaxy s2??

  • @TheGrandmasterxxx Android has HTML5 for years now.

  • I'm kind of glad that Flash was axed for Android. I think it's a very capable platform (besides the whole RAM usage and all) but it just wasn't cut out for scaling down to mobile devices. I used the internet on my friend's Droid X one day and it was SO SLOW on a page that had one flash ad on it.

  • Comment removed

  • i'm watching this on my galaxy SII's browser

    so......

  • @pheeson they won't completely axe it out ... they will stop supporting future devices. If you've got it, don't uninstall it and don't expect more updates in the future

  • *sigh* why couldnt Steve have seen this

  • @GAMESGLORIOUSGAMES Steve Jobs did see this coming, he said it at D8 and it is also in his book

  • @MMOTotal yh... thats why its sad he couldnt see that he was actually right. also its a 'biography' which means its written by someone else, whereas an 'autobiography' is written by that actually person (in this case Steve Jobs). so technically its not 'his' book, its just a book about him so its not all his thoughts.

  • Stay frosty.

  • My gosh I have a desire single core and I loved flashing on it I still love it I'm on flash right now.my friend buyed a sensation instead of iPhone 4 now he's mad because he loved flash too.I mean I used to watch movies on videobb and everything

  • Lol steve job is dead and they announced this? This is an insult hahaha

  • How am I gonna watch Porn on desktop versions of sites......

  • @AsianNinjaXD download opera mobile

  • @268WrightJamal flash is going to go away.. opera wont fix your porn problems
  • @AsianNinjaXD well dont watch it

  • Im excited that flaw is disappearing while watching a flash video, sigh

    google should make youtube HTML5

  • they should not ax it -_-

  • You guys do realize that android supports both formats ? unlike apple ... the question is how long will it take for everything to be HTML5 ... just because ADOBE stop with flash doesn't mean that all the current sites stop using it ... SMH ... Apple fan boys will always find a way to try to down play Android ...

  • @MisterDrumngun But this takes away from one one Androids major selling points over iphone.

  • @Mr3agl3 Your completely wrong ... Android has many selling points over iPhone ... And IOS5 shows you exactly what it is That android had over it ... for example NOTIFICATIONS , OVER THE AIR UPDATES , CLOUD SERVICES , SPEECH TO TEXT , NOTIFICATION DRAWER ... Now tell me what apple has over the GALAXY NEXUS ?

  • @groundhabit over the galaxy nexus, it has siri and an 8 megapixel camera, and can be more reliable because of the interface compared to most androids, depending on how the person uses it.

  • Google might be big enough to change adobe's mind on this.

  • @Mr3agl3 Google is one of the biggest advocates of HTML5

  • @Mr3agl3 Google may buy flash and make it better ... ADOBE is a small company in front of GOOGLE

  • Thumbs up if you were looking in the mirror

  • Flash on the Blackberry Playbook runs smoothly. damn

  • @latinoalex5 Yes they do. Yes they do.

  • @latinoalex5 We always did NO doubt about that. Another point for Apple. Next!

  • @xionxiox ahhh dont hate cause your money hungry apple crap NEVER had flash, poor guys, even a broken clock is right twice a day

  • @xionxiox

It's all right ... I'll just visit your mom and she'll cheer me up with sex, like she does every night

  • @latinoalex5 Yep, it feels great :)

  • @latinoalex5 Macmillians Faggots are pretty tasty this time of year ! Thanks for reminding me to buy some more for christmas ! mmmm nothing like some locally produced Faggots :D

  • @latinoalex5 Dude your a loser shut up. Your not impressing anyone by talking crap on youtube.

  • @latinoalex5 yep!

  • @latinoalex5 It feels pretty fucking great!

    Sent from my iPhone

  • @latinoalex5 hell yeah biiitch

  • @latinoalex5 macfags? lmao relax apple devices aren't that bad. just not as good as others.

  • Adobe + Android + Fucking HDMI = Amazement!

  • Get a UV light, turn off the lights, and point it at the bed in that room. lol

  • that's asinine.. what does it hurt Apple and now Android to OFFER Flash? give users a choice.

  • @eyepatchinc Theres a big diference in OFFERING and SUPPORTING, Flash is a pain in the ass for developpers on mobile plateform because the mobile plateform does not have as processing power as a desktop or a laptop unit; compatibility issues, bug issues, speed issues those are all the things you need to expect, you need to constantly update the softwares for bug fixes and security issues, adobe probably had to work to hard and they finally dropped it. Sometimes you don't have a choice.

  • great news

  • see! steve jobs is a friken badass!!!

  • HTML on android or flash on Android. Doesn't matter. Android still for the win. Maybe apple will eventually admit the iphones screen looks like a little bitch next to some of these android 4 + inch screens and upgrade their screen size.

  • @halo27legend i think the iphone is cool but i like my android phone a lot because of the HTC sense skin it is so sexy LOL

  • @pandurism I also have an HTC device and love HTC sense.

  • Steve was right... as always (RIP Steve)

  • @gadgetboy1234 As always? lmao. Sucking a dead guys dick makes you a necrophiliac dude.

  • @WhatTehFux Urmm firstly please don't disrespect the dead, if it wasn't for Steve you would even be insulting me right now ! and you wouldn't be watching this video. Secondly i don't have an obsession with rotting corpses and if you think about it if i did, why would i be respecting him? Its dick heads like you that have forced youtube to add a thumbs down option ! You sir, in the words of Japan are an Otaku !

  • @gadgetboy1234 You done talking complete shite? I'm not disrespecting the dead. Not that I give a flying rats ass about Steve Jobs. Steve has done nothing for my life, other than take my money for this shitty iPhone. Steve also has nothing to do with Adobe Flash (which is how youtube displays its content). Steve also had nothing to do with the creation of youtube. Steve Almighty wasn't the god you thought he was, and it's hilarious to watch you blow him even after his death.

  • @WhatTehFux YouTube never used flash for mobile devices, I can watch the desktop version of it on my ipad.

Soon YouTube will use HTML5 instead of flash too, they did it with Google.

  • @WhatTehFux if I'm talking shite then your talking shit ! you do know with the NEXT Cube that was the first commercially available guy that introduced windows THE MOUSE ! so I'm gonna finish this conversation, i hate speaking to know it alls !!! (think they know everything) i can tell you something mate, if you have a computer science degree. then we'll talk cuz you sound like a spoilt kid to me. Oh and also you have got to be a dumb ass to use sexual innuendoes, what are you ... 12 ?
