Matt and Trey talk about this in the commentary...they were originally doing it as a hoarding episode and were going to use dream therapy as part of the plot...then they realized it was turning into inception. One of them had not seen the movie so they showed him the CH skit because it is so accurate (and bc the real movie was not available yet) they realized later that they had copied some of the jokes so they called the CH people and apologized...and the CH people were totally cool with it
They hadn't seen the movie and matt showed him the college humor sketch which was his only point of reference because for whatever reason (stoner time) he didn't feel like watching the actual movie. Take the time to splice some footage together but not enough to research what actually happened or to remove an irrelevant video, why don't you? douche.
The dialogue is kind of similar beyond the fact that they are both making fun of Inception. Specifically, the "thoughts of my dead wife manifest themselves as trains" is almost identical. However, its still only like two lines of dialogue. CH needs to get over this already.

And they couldn't get a copy to watch so they were watching parodies and they stumbled upon the college humor one and Matt said "THAT IS THE MOVIE". And Matt also knows someone who works for college humor. And Matt apologized to them when he realized what they did.
