@jmodlin210 - They're not fixing anything at all. However, the X-Men Arcade Game is available now on PSN. The X-Box Live Arcade format will be available tomorrow. BTW, I'm buying it this Friday!!!!

Posted in another of SPFEEntertainment's threads. The same soundtrack quirk is found throughout the Xmen XBLA/PSN game. They ported the MAME version to the next gen consoles, with some questionable art (the front end looks terrible).

The music for this sound worse in MAME. Hopefully they can fix it in the last version they can make.

This was one of those games that proved just how important a good soundtrack is. Gameplay-wise, it didn't stand out much from the other Ninja Turtles/Double Dragon/Final Fight/Etc... games of the day, and it certainly wasn't faithful in the depictions of its characters or their powers, nor was its story terribly deep or involving, but this game's soundtrack was undeniably awesome, and because of that one fact alone, I found it more fun than any other Marvel-based game before or since then.

Thanks so very much, Mitsuru. I used to put 4 quarters playing the 6-player game of the X-Men back in 1992. This was my #1 favorite arcade game next to TMNT: Turtles In Time (IV in the Super Nintendo version) and Daytona USA.
