  • Like your stuff. Living in Vegas i dont get to hear "real" music much, road house is mssing from this town. On my way back home to Cleveland hope to stop by and see you guys live. I long for reality...

  • wow this is an awesome vid.

this is so old school yet so new school at the same time and i just have to give my props to the wonderful homies of this band.

  • Sounds real Nice Great job

  • just one word, amazing!

  • Good song (Great Gtr work)...Everyones a critic you dont like it go somwhere else, for me its whats real about music (The-Blues)..Keep it Alive

  • Great guitar work. Awesome band.

  • jack black on lead guitar!

  • that's some fine guitar work!!

  • Get a contract!

  • Listen to Nevermore. 3 things make up great music. Technique, Knowledge of your instrument and creativity. Play the hell out of it or dont play it at all

  • i see a heavy jack white/raconteurs influence in there

  • yea i could see jack white singing this song, especiallly with brendan as backup vocalist

  • i thought the black crowes already covered this musical territory. Boring

  • I like Black Crowes too, but there is always room for another book on the shelf. This song got it.

  • and gangster rap is so original

  • there a really good band but i really dont care about this song

  • The band is very good...

    I like this song

  • Hey, Pawnshop Roses: the late 70's blues/rockabiliy crowd called, they want you to return your setlist IMMEDIATELY.

  • I like it very much, but you have to work just a little more with the sound. The drum was little bit high and the stings a little bit low. (Just a little no so much) OK.

  • these guys are fun

  • I loved it. Loved the rockabilly feel. It's hard to find a band that sounds good live like that. Please post more.

  • I love the bluesy, rockabilly country mix... very good.. I would definately listen more...

  • gooood band

  • Lovin' the sound, dudes. It's real rock n' roll baby

  • now thats the way i want to Rock N' Roll!

nice one dudes, really enjoyed that one

  • Awesome! You guys are amazing! It's too bad that no one listens to blues these days, all that stuff has been shrouded by the grungy and bombastic alternative rock age, tis shame.

I've always wanted to join a blues band, so I'm going to form one soon! I'm a blues guitarist myself.

  • Pawnshop Roses are from my hometown and these guys are an amazing rock and roll band. This song is a bit country but they are a rock and roll band much in the same vein as The Black Crows

  • Pretty sweet dudes.

  • holy heck. i saw you in my living room 5 minutes ago!

  • boo

  • Yeehaw! What a Bunch Of Yokels!!

"Hey Ma I Found a Squirrel! We Eatin Tonite!"

Haha Nah They're alot Better Than Alot Of the stuff you find on here :P

  • great blues band, lots of flair and style and the mutton chops look cool:)

  • whatsup with that cheekhair?

  • This chord progression has been done so many times that I don't think they can call that "their song."

  • they sell roses at pawn shops?

  • it's the 3 chords to Mystery Train--why not just cover it? is anyone else as bored with this as i am? good playing but no originality.

  • It's the 3 chords to everything, it's a basic blues progression.

  • its pretty cool

  • not bad...could have been a better song

  • So Boring!

  • Good job guys

  • dam i though this was rock or heavy... and this is EXTREMLY SIMULAR TO BALLROOM BLITZ by the sweet. I don't think they can even call this song there own...

  • Not so so similar... the rif may remind me of Ballroom Blitz... But the vocalist is more calm, and the melody is not that similar.. :) Stii Sweet knows how to play... and so does these guys :)

  • Yeah, your right, but they clearly got there inspiration from that song. The first guitar play is very similar, as well as the drums.

  • totally get where you're coming from.

  • DEFF influenced by CCR.

    this is awesome

  • Hey...Pawnshop Roses are the shiznit! Plus, I want Kevin Bentley to be my baby's daddy..

    rock on....

    cheers-

    d from 4"Stud

  • not bad...not hard enough for me though!! but they're talented!

  • three cord blues, so unoriginal. back to the drawing board.

  • At least thei`re not folow the mainstreem A4 music.... Thou, I`t would be hard to do something totally new and exiting, at least they play well.. and the music is quite likeable :)

  • I am an electric blues Guitarist, The thought of you guys doing what you want and like to do is wonderfull.

The RUSH is Good for all. Never quit. Your Music is not only good, it is real.

  • I gave it a 3, it was easy to dance to.

  • woah u guys rock! I never knew drew carey played the drums! jack black killed it on the guitar solo! lol j kidding. u guys really are awesome! don't pay attention to these haters, they dont know good music. keep up the great work u just made a fan.

  • Amen brother.

  • dude seems likea jack white wanna be

  • Bad sideburns do NOT make you a blues musician

  • Sounds like Primus slept with the doo-doo brothers

  • Only 3 stars ? Dissapointing people. I find it to be at least 4 star worthy. Guess people watch to much american idle =(

  • good :-)

  • really enjoyed the song.

  • I liked em'

I was scared it was going to be some emo crap or anything dumb people consider rock these days.

    Greenday = my balls

  • never did I expect to see you guys on the front page of youtube. awesome.

  • I really dont know what to say....

  • good

  • they sound like radiohead with a little maiden/pantera/pac influence. pretty good

  • Try texas.

  • Trash.

  • It's not bad, just kind of a basic blues rock number though and it does get played a lot, there are tons of songs that are based off this same beat. Not bad though better then some other bands I've heard.

  • no you havent

  • lame i've heard it five thousand times before by different "artists"

  • must've been hard to keep count!

  • Liked the Telecasters. Was good till he started singing.

  • i liked them.a hint of call me the breeze on this one. i think they are cool.

  • goodie

  • Dat was de slechtste video op youtube ooit! waarom zelfs verstuur zo'n een slechte video! het klonk alsof mijn grootmoeder een drol op eerste kerstdag nemend! het zoog ezel!

  • cmon, shut the fuck up, this was awesome!!

  • nice

  • Oh yeah !

They rocks ! I love their sounds !

    A very good guitar's sound !

    <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • pretty all right.

but he's trying to be Rory Gallagher. and that ain't right. get me the real Rory!

  • Great band.

  • really good i love it i dont usally like blues but that had somthin to it

  • That was awesome

  • lets hope something good comes of this, i.e. more people playing and appreciating the blues!

  • "kewl" it's fun to watch and to listen to, I like the guit solo, very tasty !!!

  • Not bad - It seems these guys can actually play.

    Good name too

  • hhhm live music is always great specially blues like it

  • It's cute, but i didn't really like it.

  • i like it.

  • HILLBILLYS

  • A lot of people seem to have a negative attitude towards Blues music. To me that's like hating your grandfather for enjoying a Rolling Rock, just because you have discovered Chimay.

  • hha,funny,i like this

  • Quite simple really....Excellent

  • Snore... Way too much hype. A label must be driving this thing. These guys are fair, but fair gets you a gig at the local bar. 3-chord blues is 1st-year guitar work. Nice choice of instruments, though. And the drummer is good.

  • their amazing

  • damn these guys sound a lot like badfinger the singer is totally trying to emulate pete hamm and the song totally sounds like ''sometimes'', but i like em tho id buy their record if i saw it

  • i fancy you

  • I don´t agree with lxleightlxl. It´s fun to see a good bluesband on the tube. There´s ususally metal guitarplayers or bands who take pride in playing faster than Lucifer himself. Tjere´s a charm to that aswell but there´s nothing wrong with some gol dol bluesy shit.

  • and NO MUSIC available on itunes. i don't know who is more of a dumb ass now YouTube or the band. give me a break.

  • really really cool! the bass is grooooooovvviinnnggg :D

  • featured on YouTube and all they have is 2 gigs lined up. how does that happen?

  • Great music!

  • scooter is a good guy. pawn shop roses are very cool.

  • Noice Fellas!

  • You guys are great. You don't see the blues enough anymore and you guys definitely do your own thing with it. Keep it up.

  • Grass Roots Rock & Roll.. KICK ASS!!!!

  • We need more rock, any rock...to save us all from rap! Keep em coming, i'm listenin!!!

    russ

  • Fantastic, love it. What else can I say?

  • mtv doesn't play music, and I don't think they would play anything good like this if they did.

  • What would one call this? Lone Justice meets the Black Crowes with a dash of Elvis and Gram Parsons? This is actually quite good. I'll be interested to hear more.

As far as what Canada contributed to music, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young for two. Triumph, Rush, Gordon Lightfoot, Cowboy Junkies, Bryan Adams and Shania Twain's worth I will leave up to you. I like some of Rush's and Shania's songs, but they all bore me otherwise.

  • does anyone else keep getting this problem on youtube (since google took over!) some videos wont play out, like this one, missing last minute and just stutter on watch again etc....help its really doing my tree in!

  • Not at all bad. Very bluesy with an almost late 60s sound to it in every way. Blissfully awesome guitar tone though. :)

  • that's quite nice, for a indie(?) band :>
