Love this song!!! One of my all time favorites and I have a big selection of favorite songs from many different groups and solo artists. Limahl/Kajagoogoo is awesome :-)
i really love every note and every melody of this song. Limahl was able to capture the true beauty of this awesome composition. It sends me sweet memories of 1986 when i was still in iligan city, philippines. I miss everything and all the people - my friends and cousins, who were with me during those times, whom i have never seen for a long long time now.
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. 1. The awesome stage presence of proper pop star Limahl 2. The gorgeous melody that is like a jolt of Liquid Prozac 3. The 80's production that is not afraid of a sax solo 4. The cheesy special effects of his haunted eyes 5. The melancholy knowledge that this song peaked at #80 in the U.K. singles chart.
One thing that i've found true and for a long time... "The 80's production that is not afraid of a sax solo" HOW'S THIS IS SO TRUE! The best guitar, sax and other solos were made during this time, where musics were make to last 5 minutes, 7... In these days musics have to be short because of radio and mtv...
I can't find a music these days with nore than 5 minutes and with solos...
This is one of those British videos - trying to get the US dollars.

Very cool song, although I would prefer a synth over a saxophone solo.
