  • i find out.. playing the bass is more easy than this piano.

  • Niby fajnie, ale na tym sprzęcie nie ma światełek. Poza tym klawisze są niepodświetlane. Brak też możliwości zespolenia z rosyjską ELEKTRONIKĄ, a trochę szkoda! Dla mnie zbyt realistyczne brzmienie fortepianu.

  • Bass player was awesome! I wonder how he set the bass to get the sounding like that!?

  • I think any RD700NX users, or potential users should watch this!

    /watch?v=kNNGiJjPEI4

  • which are better for pianos Roland or Yamaha?

  • @Cyberman86 ........ in flagship workstations of both companies: yamaha hands down......... or get a roland xp80 if you want a roland with good piano sounds (it's old, but even the fantom's pianos are crap compared to xp80's)....... if you want the best pianos selection try a yamaha s90xs (even better pianos than motif xs)

  • @Cyberman86 The s90xs is what i bought and what i prefer, after trying both. It's a subjective matter, but for piano sounds try out Yamaha s90xs, this roland or the Kurzweil pc3x whcih also has a good piano sound, and is a bit cheaper than the other two (:

  • nord piano sucks....! yamaha and roland rules!! i played all types cp,rd,nord

  • I'm thinking to buy a stage piano like this. Is it normal that the keys are lighter when you play high notes and heavyer when you play low notes?

  • @Angel94angel94 Ye, on a grand piano the hammers are usually lighter on the highger notes, because they are smaller (: On keyboards, its just called graded hammer action.

  • whats the song name?

  • @predoje Beat Street ;)

  • I should want to know what amplification David Benoit is using with his rd 700 GX

    Thanks

  • I own a RD-700GX as well. In my opinion, the RD-700GX piano might be a little difficult to amplify, especially in band context, however, it's superior to the NORD piano (by far). Additionally, in contrast to the Roland, the NORD is totally overpriced.

  • drumkit looks like a TD20 ... €6000 ...

  • what is 'to none' and 'lackluster'????

  • what're the scales this guy is using?

  • Roland pianos have a nice quality for this type of music. But they are sorta one dimensional IMO. I think NORD could knock ROLAND out with their pianos. They are ALMOST there. ALL NORD needs is someone like me to endorse them. LOL

  • very difficult to judge the rd700gx from this inferior video. however: Dave B is obviously a very awesome musician.

  • Listen to the chords on his left hand... Those chords/voicings are supposed to sound smooth, and they don't. Bad piano sounds, not for jazz, but for rock.

  • Do you have any recommendations for a Jazz stage piano? :) I'm looking alot around at the moment and its like a jungle finding the right one.

  • Yeah I've been looking also, the Yamaha s90ES is killer for jazz. I'm looking to buy one of those.

  • all I can say is, show him what he did wrong..

  • all I can say is, "show him or us what he did wrong then".....

  • All I can say is "show us or him what he did wrong"......

  • magnificently awesome beyond words can describe..

  • Fantastic song and a great piano sound

  • wow i love that wtah

  • sweet keys man.I love the RD700-sx. I worked at gtr center.I didnt like the gx as much.cheap knobs less quality.go find the RD700-sx.Its a sweet board!!!!

  • Dude I didn't even realize the drummer was on v-drums until the end. Pretty sweet.

  • @chrisrothgeb89 Funny how the purpose of the video is to advertise the RD700GX but I find myself wanting the V-Drums rather than the piano and I'm not even a drummer(Piano player).

  • @ChurchBoy0487 that's exactly what i was thinking, i was checking out the synth and i was like... nice drums... ha.

  • I found getting the SRX piano card to be well worth the money. the pianos sound on the card are more realistic to my ears. The RD700gx has two expansion slots and their are a lot of cool cards.

  • oh fuckling cool Devid Benoit

I'm becoming your Fan right now :)

  • Can anybody tell me, what this song is called? That would be very nice! Thanks :)

  • Oh the name of the song is called "beat street" from his album "Full Circle", youll like the song cafe rio too on the cd.

  • Its called "beat street", from his album full circle

  • never heard so bad EP's, supernatural sucks completely.

  • That's simply because you cannot afford this keyboard, heehee.

  • yeah, I wish I didn't buy it. Now I have to use as a controller only as keys action is the best on the market but weak piano and horrible EP's force me to use motif XS sound with it.

  • maybe it was the amp you were using

  • yea i'd have to say myself to go with the rd 700 gx for sure.

The keyboard is absolutely fantastic! I have one, and it has nothing to offer but playing great shows and comin' up with some dope piano lines, as you can see for yourself

I'm thinking of buying a Roland vk-8 what are your thoughts?

  • very nice keyboard but we need the same piano sample as in the roland rd1000s or roland mks-20 in these nowadays keyboards aswell,

  • Ten Gosciu , to Debesciak

  • i own the rd700gx and all i can tell you is, the keybed action is next to none...the sounds however, especially the expressive grand are lackluster in my opinion.

im thinking of buying a software piano because of this

  • UR SAYIN RD sucks? fuck you!

  • @KancerStick If you've had an opportunity to play a Kurzweil PC2x or 3x how would you compare the pinao sound between the two pianos? I own a PC 2x, and I think the piano sample are pretty good...but...sometime they sound a little old and need to be upgraded? What's your opinion.

    Rob

  • @KancerStick how do you mean action is next to none? Is it bad, and hows that that piano sound is bad?

  • @KancerStick Yeah, if only Roland made a USB (MIDI) Keyboard with just this key bed.

  • @KancerStick This RD sounds pretty good here, probably because they either put in some extra piano cards, or they tweaked the fvck out of the stock piano with a 1/3 octave eq. I HATE the stock pianos in my RD

  • @gingervytis 4 months later... I still own one and the pianos still suck rubber donkey dicks. I have to create a deep notch filter around 1K to dial out the annoying clang on G# 3. The piano samples are pure grade A SHIT. But as a live stage rig, the RD700gx is quite good... if you can live with the piano samples.

  • How does this compare to PC3X? I'm thinking of buying one of them, either this or the PC3X, but I feel quite nervous about it. Been standing in a store trying both out for more than 12 hours each the last week, and I just can't reach a conclusion... I really need a strong piano sound to practice my classical repertory, but I'd also like some cool leads for my progressive playing, and the effects bank on the PC3 is quite amazing, but so is the RD700 aaaaaah how to choose??

  • pc3x has a workstation, rd700gx doesnt. there you go.

  • OMG!!! THAT's AMAZING!! I WANT THIS INSTRUMENT!!!:):):)

  • やっぱすごいわ

  • RD-700 GX is the One !
