it's true that elfen lied can make you sick if you can't stand blood very well but i personally think that higurashi naku no koro ni is more sickening (don't take me wrong higurashi fans :P i love higurashi but it's more sickening than elfen lied)

In the Manga, she's Cosmos who came back from a future where all the Senshi were killed and she was loosing to Chaos. After seeing Eternal Sailor Moon win against Chaos and choose to have everything reborn instead of just staying in the cauldron, it gave her the strength to go back and continue fighting.

BTW: Cosmos in the Manga is Sailor Moon's ultimate form.
