  • where did you get your rims? i want generally the same ones except with red time instead of silver

  • Looks great! Still Have it? Have you done anything else with it?

  • hey bro i recently jst blew my motor on my gt none supercharged n im goin to get another motor for it a supercharged one from a gtp..did u have to change anythin like computer wise or transmission??

  • what did you have to modifi?

  • Why in gods name would you want a series 3? series 2 is sooooo much better

  • @frosty9595

    Lol you're such an idiot.

  • @3800GTV6 Im the idoit? First of all yes the series 3 is damn near the same as a series 2 mechanically.... but electrically the computers and shit are all emissions friendly and a bunch of other bullshit. Less potential horsepower and worse gas milage. the series 2 was also one of the first engines to qualify to be ulev (or lev?) ultra low emissions certified (even thought it never went through the process) and the series 3 doesn't even qualify. Also series 2 was in the top 10 list worldwide ftw

  • supp man i see you know your cars, so could you tell me how to l67 swap a 97 regal ls it cam with a 4t60e trans unlike 98 up so pcm and trans beings differen what how would i do the swap i know it can be done because i seen it did on 95 regal

  • how do you like the l32. i am thinking of the l67 or doing a top swap on my 99 gt.

  • hopefully you swapped trannys too. cuz if thats a non hd 4t65e transmission its probably not gonna last that long with all that added hp

  • @chowski989

    Lol

  • @3800GTV6

chowski989 does have a point. I even have one in my Olds LSS

  • Idk much about cars but I have a 98 GP SE, can I do the same you did with your engine? and how much does it cost?

  • is it possible to put a 97-02 supercharger on a stock 2002 GP GT3.8 or does it require changing heads, intake, ecm and the main harness for all engine sensors

  • was the grand prix already supercharged or did it come with the 2007 engine?

  • This car was originally N/A with an L36, I put in a 2007 L32 motor.

  • thats sick i had a?? is there a way to put a super charger on my grand am GT ive seen some with like a side super charger not on top how does that work

  • how's it running? I don't kow If I should go with the genv blower swap or just swap an l32

  • Runs hard haha. L32 FTW!

  • wow talk about fail, you replaced a v6 with another v6. and your videos get no shine.

  • Keep trolling, it's funny. :-)

What else ya got? Keep it coming!

  • can i do that same swap with my 2000 monte carlo ss?

tell me everything involved or that i need to note

  • Yes you can.

  • i wouldnt have to modify the frame or anything?

and would the series 3 mate to the tranny from my series 2?

  • @TaylorScottTime

    No modifying the frame.

Yes it will mate to the 4T65E.

  • Nice L32!!. that sucks about your L26 blowing that thing was a beast. I guess your gonna start to mod the new engine to? or is it close to what your L26 was?.

  • Yeah it was a beast haha (L36 BTW...Series II)

The L32 will make more power than the L36 did with the mods I have on it now.

  • @3800GTV6 yea I just looked it up the L26 was the N/A series 3 LOL.

  • It's all good mang!

  • man i bet this was very costly, but it pays off with the performance feedback.did you do all this work yourself?

  • @halow4

Yes it was spendy (About 5 grand total with the new racing transmission)

With every penny! I did all the work in my garage, as well as tuned it myself.

  • @3800GTV6 how should i go about a top swap from l36 na to a l67 sc? I got a GP GT and wanna give it some extra hp what is your advice?

    Thanks

  • @thc3636

Just buy an L67 top end (Heads, lower intake, blower TB, etc...) and swap over onto your current L36. PM me if you would like more in depth info.

  • ok. how much will all of that run me do you think? Assuming I can find some used parts from say a wrecked GTP or something

  • @thc3636

    About 1000 bucks.

  • Nice ride! did you have to do anything special to the wire harness, transmission, ecu or did everything just drop in place?

  • Thanks! No changes were made to the harness, transmission or PCM!

  • Looks and sounds great!

Too bad about your old engine though :(

    That thing was a monster!

  • Yeah! It's a bummer, but this one will take power well :-)

  • NICE Prix man!

  • very nice pretty sure thats the same engine i had in my 2007 grand prix gt superchargered very nnice

  • Badass marc! Im jealous!

  • Nice, the 04 i'm going to get doesn't have the supercharger, I wish it did. how many miles are on that motor? I still want a 97-03 grand prix or a buick regal GS

  • you swapped in a hole motor just for higher compression? what are the other benefits?

  • The old motor had high compression...I swapped motors because the other one lost compression in cylinder #1.

  • ah, haha. Suck's.

Well at least now you know how to tune, so hopefully you wont burn up another piston/ring.

  • Yeah I think the rings in it were fried...boost on a motor that wasn't designed for boost never works out for too long lol

  • yea, my 5.0 is starting to smoke a bit under WOT sometimes. I think my ring's arnt liking all the nitrous :p

It will be fine im sure.

We just got a house, move in sept 24th, so if need be i can pull the motor and put in more friendly ring's for the spray.

  • Haha piston rings FTL!!! :P

Can stock 5.0's handle boost pretty well?

  • OH YEA. lol. the internal's are all forged and actually much much stronger then the block. The block will crack in half right down the middle at about 600 horse power to the flywheel, where the internals are fine upto about 800+

My car just has about 150k miles, so it could use a little love.

look up stock 5.0 turbo video's, or ill send you a few.

you can slap a turbo on the 100% stock fox and other then fuel mods with about 16#'s make 450+ horse power pretty damn easy!!

  • SICK!!!!!!!

  • sick nice job.

but wats the diff between this one and the original one u had?

  • L36 is a bit higher compression.

    Thanks!
