funny thing though, this dance seems ALOT like Kate Arbeger's solo to Let it Be. Don't know who's came first, but you should take a look, they're really similar

@x0xDefyGravityx0x welllll, since Kendall's solo was competed during the 2008 season and Kate's was competed during the 2009 season, I think Kendall's came first. There is some similarity, but this song has such strong accents, I think that what you are seeing is the strength of the accent moves. I remember Kendall's choreographer saying this was a very dificult song to choreograph, because it didn't follow a traditional music pattern.

@ClawsonDancer1 thanks for the compliment. She is now dancing at a tremendous studio in Atlanta called Rhythm Dance Center. She dances about 15-20 hours a week, 3-5 days a week, depending on what they are working on. Be sure to check out her Mark Meismer solo from last season, Love Remains the same, it was stunning. I also loved her Daughters solo from a couple of seasons ago. "~"

Also, many dancers have this particular problem with their hands. You are holding your tension in her hands and you aren't finishing your movements. You stop the movement once it gets to the wrists, carry on through your fingers and relax your hands. Maybe before you go on stage or you dance in class try shaking your hands out and relaxing them.

You did a great job. You seem to be on the right track and still more learning to do. :D

I thought this was a great dance with great choreography. You did a great job. A few things that I would suggest working on, and this is something to work on in a technique class. Is to work on your upper body movement. Try not to just stop the movement at your shoulders but carry it through and add the little extra umph to it.

is she wearing jazz shoes or undiess? she seams at ease with turns, so i assume jazz shoes, as lyrical shoess are hard to do a la seconds in.

this was the first time she ever performed this and it was not at a nationals. Nationals was seven months later and yes she did take this solo to nationals, and yes she is very good, good enough to be at a nationals...this past year she placed 8th overall with her teen solo. This performance was the first time she ever did a solo. "~" Check her out in Daughters, Satan's Little Lamb, bushel and a peck, a new day, work me down, all at Dance Arts Centre.
