hmmm but when he fights justin wongs balrog it's a different story... maybe just the way gootecks plays his balrog... i dunno i just think that justin just knows how to counter they way gootecks plays his balrog.
His online name is Jchensor - James Chen, I think. You can see him on I Got Next, or you can check out the videos on his YouTube channel - user/jchensor.
Romeo employs this strategy vs Noel in the RPS money matches - in two different matches, he threw three rocks in a row and three papers, respectively. It wins him some, and it loses him some. Check it out!
Loved that Headbutt into ultra finish right there! On a more serious note, nice to see the fun and laid back nature of some of the players - Too many out there who spend their time trash talking or spouting egotistical nonsense rather than just having fun and being laid back ^^
RPS bridges divides and is a universal thing that many cultures understand. It is a great game. You don't even need to know the language to challenge someone at it.
But yeah, the best SFIV players make the best RPS players. Not a coincidence!
Well a lot of it stems from the whole competative nature of gaming/the game in general.
I try hard to remember games are just games are they're made for fun, but as Gootecks himself said, it's a beat'em'up - You have to literally 'beat' the other person and it can really suprise you in what kind of emotion this brings out in a person. I played online quite a bit and turned into a screaming frustrated bastard swearing at the monitor out of rage - Other people take it differently ^^
Point is, it's moments like the one you've uploaded, that reminds you that not everything should be taken by beating our chests and screaming - It's a nice little scene :)
Nope, didn't know that at all - Infact that last time I had seen/heard/played RPS was 20 years ago ^^
It's not something you think much of or see that much (at least not me, anyways) yet it's a very simple and unforgettable little game. I remember playing it frequently as a child but never seen it in any form until this movie.
Gootecks such a mellow and likable guy no homo

Yes, that's true, too. And online play does seem to bring out the worst in us!
Did you know RPS was used in deciding an appropriate place of deposition in a federal case? Incredible how RPS can be utilized.
