There have been slight variations of the theme over the years, including one where it was beatboxed. In fact, I don't think it's ever been exactly the same since the beginning. Something is always different, even if it's a tiny difference.

The colors seem brighter because Futurama is cel-animated (like cartoons are actually supposed to be ) and painted cels fade over time. Other than that..not really much difference. God, this thing is old. Not surprising, though.

Differences, there's a few at the opening, 1: the letters in "futurama" stop rotating faster in 2010 version, and the colors are brighter. The only other difference I can see, thats probably not affected by the aspect ratio change, is at 0:24 on the big screen, there are two different "videos" being shown, and one is in color (2010) while the other is black n white (99-02).
