It's interesting that Trey Grayson could only answer the question by deliberately misinterpreting the interviewer's use of the word "outsider." The interviewer meant "outsider" in the sense of not being in bed with Washington, and Grayson changed it to mean not being a fifth-generation Kentuckian.

I'd rather vote for a conservative who's been in Kentucky for two days than a waffling liberal whose family has been in Kentucky since Daniel Boone.

If you really cared about national security you would support closing down all foreign military bases, bring out troops back home where they should be, and reduce the national debt and stop printing dollars.
