  • Seriously guys, don't you know which is which??? Can't you distinguish a 20-year-old pedal effect from a new one? Or it's just me that has this ability???

  • Very goog, but... Which is the #1 and which is the #2? :) I really like more the 2nd one

  • I think that you should have tested them with a really clean sound. The touch of overdrive you've added doesn't help at all to tell one from another.

Anyway I think that the Bif Box DMM is the first one. When are you going to reveal which is which?

  • @geokar16 i have a link to the video with results, its in the description right below this video.

  • @shnobel Oh sorry I didn't see that. Thanks!

  • is the big one the reissue?

  • @777jordan The Big one is a 1978 Vintage Original

  • I'm not sure if it's intentional but the melody at the start reminds me a lot of Circa Survive's I Felt Free. Anyway, I just got my DMMTT yesterday (finally) but haven't played with it enough to be able to tell which is which here yet!

  • whats the better for you?

  • Delay 1 is DMM.

    Delay 2 is DMMTT.

2's repeats have a little digitalness to them while 1's sound very analog & bucket like.

  • @gsexton89 I was right!

  • @gsexton89 I think that your point is that 2's repats are more hi fi. DMM TT is known for its hi fi sound. Under no circumstances has it digitalness to its sound. It is as analog as a Big Box DMM. ;)

  • I own a DMMtt and it rocks hard, but I might be selling it soon cuz I really lust for the feature set of the Timeline.

  • I think 2 sounds a little smother and thicker. Both sound great. I also own both but haven't done a side by side comparison. The tap tempo is more usable in a live setting.... SO.. which is which?!

  • i like number 2 better!

  • Nice demo. I think number one is the DMTT and number two is the big box DMM. I have both and the the big box one seems to sit behind in the mix more and the delays feel a little fatter with a more gradual decay. DMTT almost matches it and is a heck of a lot more versatile. Found you from your TGP link.
