I'm also using this method, but this is jsut a poor workaround, because it doesnt allow you to sort out bookmarks by categories, tags, etc. I hope Google adds a bookmarks option to the dashboard soon ...
Great suggestion Greg - have been using a Circle for saving information just as you suggested - it works well. Google + is certainly work in progress but we get to shape it which is pretty cool
