Really excellent recording. Proof that less IS more. I've been looking for a studio version of this song on youtube to listen to at work, but all I found was live versions by Browne himself. This is an excellent substitute.

I believe that Jackson Browne's music needs to be shared with everyone. They all need to hear it! I truly believe it can make the world a better place but does anyone give him a chance?? Great job James...glad you found JB....I'm 61 years old and have followed his career since the beginning. I saw him in concert for the first time in the 70's with Linda Ronstadt. I've seen him numerous times since.

No disrespect to SATNACONA, but you did not outdo Jackson Browne on this cover version.  How could you? Clarity of voice and perfect pitch come with youth...but a certain depth on top of that can only be achieved after a certain amount of life has been lived. That said, your cover of this song is STELLAR. I wish I could play in a band with you and sing back up harmonies for you. Great job!!!!!:)

Well said Andy. True feeling and emotion can not be expressed and shared until they have first been lived. This is very evident in JB's legendary song writing ability but James' voice and delivery fit this song better for me. If only we could have heard Lobo do it, we would have had the best of both styles in one artist.
