It would appear to me that the "recoil" of the can away from the shooter is the result of the explosion escaping the can's "entry wound" to the left (brought on by pressurized liquid, & normally NOT the case for, say, a human body), leading to a net force on the cavity to the right. It is NOT because of an elastic collision of the bullet on the can, correct? As evidence of this, note that the can begins to rotate AFTER it is airborne, suggesting a force well after the impact.

Would the fact that the can moved from left to right be a fairly obvious "give away"? after impact. I do realize that the experiment shows something interesting with regards to the fact that compressed stuff inside a container might provide results that challenge the "normal" ballistic results. that's probably a consequence of action and reaction, if the bullet enters from the left, the soda will pour out from the first "hole" the bullet made, that is, in the left...

I did just see a video on the zapruder film. Now i do know a little about ballistics. when they slowed the video down his head did appear to move slightly foward and then snapped back. I wonder if he was shot in the front or back? I am sure with advancments in technology we will be able to better determine as to what had happend that day in Dallas.
