I've been on this ride probably 40 times about. It's pretty insane. Thing is it's always down for maintenance, and i think the past season it was down for half of it. about the philly and NY sighting at the top...i never caught it... i could only catch the parking lot...Launch is the most intense part though. ride uses uses a cable that is wound around a giant winch. Attached to the cable is a catch car, a device that latches onto the trains and rockets them down the launch track... =)

The only thing that is similar is the design, other than that this is a major difference. Xcelerator paved the way for the possibility of this ride, but nowadays it is nothing like it.

All that I think that King Da Krap is an overhyped roller coaster. Sure you go fast and really high but it is over before you know it. After i got off my first ride I told my friend that it will be my only ride on this roller coaster and will stick to El toro and Nitro roller coasters that are waay longer than 20 seconds!
