In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus said he will turn away from the kingdom of heaven those who call Him " Lord, Lord" by saying "I never KNEW YOU; depart from Me, you who practise lawlessness. "
sister, the Spirit's reminding us (through your vessel) against a pattern (aka "spoon feeding") in how many people become drawn to a "church service", "Sunday School" or Bible classes each week to be "fed" or "recharged". Even with "small group" and 1-on1 relationships, we ought keep our eyes on Christ, dependent on Him, and not to stumbling by symbiosis (aka: codependency). Drinking His Living water; never to be left thirsty again. Then we will be able to give to others from Him.

@Stand4HimAlone Because you were talking about getting ready for the return of Christ because it is near so the first thing I thought about was Daniel's Timeline because he presents a pretty solid case for when the Lord will return. That along with all of the comet Elenin stuff, the strange sound phenomena etc.

Thanks for the post... it's bringing to the table what I don't mean... lol. It's so easy for others (especially those young in Christ) to think its 'not okay' to share. We are TOTALLY called to be a BODY!!! :) And what a blessing it is... we just shouldn't be each others source of spiritual life....
... we just gotta be sensitive to His leading in our relationships and not just keep throwing our manna to others to keep them afloat... this becomes so draining! When i was in 'church', this was constant with those in leadership that actually knew Him. So many just kept trying to feed from their hands...
I praise Yah that I now have/know what genuine fellowship is. :0)
